@@theRaw6 I think you need to have more faith sometimes. There is no reason he would lie about this, he has a history of injuries and sub-optimal training sessions before lifting competitions but during competition he always opened with a ridiculous weight and destroyed the competition. No need to stop selling now. Rhe damage is done. Buntch of Chinese vendors started selling T shirts with this design. The wocao t shirt went from unknown to popular in China overnight after Shi got his Tokyo gold medal.

I think Shi did give permission- but it was on the car ride Seb gave him, rather than in a formal environment. Shi probably didn't expect what will be on the T-Shirt, and Seb didn't exactly have an idea about it back then either. If you ask me I'd say it's more of a misunderstanding rather than intentional infringement.
Still like to see them sort this out though.

@@kevinmsft That literally has nothing to do with why the IOC is threatening to remove weightlifting. Like Madworld referred to the IWF has been playing chicken and refusing to clean up their corruption and doping for years, and it is starting to look like the IOC may finally call their bluff.

Actually imo as u see the Chinese women mix doubles in badminton there was a woman that keep shouting wocao wocao then got complained by many athletes and org. I think they don't want to promote these kind of action
wocao is not a kind word actually although u can use it in positive ways, i understand shizhiyong as he understands what it means, to non chinese it may come as a surprise
WOCAO=Fuxk，Although this word can be used in many situations now, it is not a good word in its original intention.
