Excellent video. Most prices seemed high, a few low, but by in large, the value of the tractor is based on how much an individual wants it. Yes, I would love to see the attachment auction. Thanks.
luckey the older kubota b7100 tractor can be fitted with a bx or la series kubota loaders
Willing buyer and a willing seller

💥 Some great deals can be found at auctions and then there’s also crazy people who pay way more than they should.
*Keep on tractoring!*
Some people get emotionally involved when bidding on one or more tractors. Auctioneers love these people, but those who are trying the buy a/the tractor at a good or decent price dislike those high bidders a whole lot.

4:21 If you believe that is a cab enclosure then I have a bridge to sell you! 😆
Yea, I think it would have sold better WITHOUT the tarp!
🤣🤣🤣
Yea I said to myself, I don't think the tent adds to the price lol.
Great video. These are fun to watch. Much nicer when it's a drive thru with inside seating. Our last tractor/equipment auction here in my area was done in a snow storm, outside.
I had a B7100 that I used for mowing and tilling gardens, and brush hogging and I even had a little four-foot box blade mine was a 1977 model and I gave it to my dad last year for using it around his mini storage buildings as we put a loader on it. Still runs great and doesn't use a drop of oil. Will start every time from the seat. I just love their fuel system the way that you can drain the air from the system if you run it out of diesel. Takes just a few seconds and I've never had it fail. When we used it for mowing contracts for the US Army Corps of Engineers around the lakes it seems like everybody that run it would forget to put fuel in it.
After auction fees I didn't see anything that was an amazing deal. Looked more like retail pricing to me. But was still fun to see what the market is doing

Yep that was my thought to. Some were more than their worth.
Ridiculously high prices for used Kubota lawn tractors by my estimates, but some of the other old tractors seemed reasonably priced and exciting buys. As always, I appreciate the extra mile you go, to look for strengths, weaknesses and interesting quirks.
Walk on dealers lots there empty. 1 year waiting list !
@@pitts3219your kidding I want a tractor so bad!
Great video Tim. This was fun watching these tractors sell and guessing the price! Thanks!!
Great video Tim. Some good deals can be had at an auction that’s for sure. Sounds like they stand behind the power train issues as well. Not a bad way to go. Len from Kalamazoo Michigan.
Thanks for taking the time to show us what those compact tractors you reviewed in the previous video brought at the auction & the other tractors they ran thru there. YES!!!! By all means, if you can throw together a video of the attachments they ran thru the auction I'd like to see what those things brought. Take care.
🎯
So glad you posted this. Great way of getting a general idea of what my tractor might be worth, at auction, and what others might bring.
This proves that tractors hold their value!
🎯
No, this proves these tractors are holding their value in the current market state. 2 or 3 years ago, I imagine most of these would have sold for 15 to 20% lower. But with equipment availability where it is right now, they're commanding a higher price.
@@JCWren Good point. Auctions can be a little high too because sellers need to cover auction fees. Tractors still hold their value. At least the good brand names do lol.
Great series of videos, auctions are fun but you have to be careful.... you just never know what you can get into! thanks you guys, have a great day!
Although not a tractor auction, a few years back I was "just looking" on Ebay at a chain saw. I didn't realize I had actually bought it. Now I have a 18" Stihl chain saw but I really don't need that large of a saw. My small electric saws do what I need them to do. I will use it when I remove some dying poplar trees but otherwise, not much need.
Good video and interesting to see. I was a little shocked at the overall low prices of the oldies as some of them looked to be in great shape. Then again I was surprised at the higher prices for middle aged tractors.
I saw some 50 models that were bigger and nicer than my old 53 NAA Ford that I sold before Covid hit for 3,500…some of those went in 2500 range or lower at the auction. Makes me happy with what I got.
I also would like to see the implement/attachment auction….then maybe a field trip to a cattle auction - I know many may not care about that, bUt a small town cattle auction is mind blowing.

Thank you for posting this movie with the winning bid prices. I like to keep up with the times and values of tractors. And I'd surely watch a movie of the attachment sales!
Thanks for posting this. I was feeling bad about missing the sell , The prices were higher than what I`d pay anyway.
Thanks. Enjoyed watching, still some deals to be had out there
It’s nice to know auction values on these compact tractors. I bought mine new and the lady at the credit union didn’t understand why tractors were so expensive.
I enjoyed that. I was surprised by some of those prices. Some I thought would go higher, and some I thought were maybe too high, but overall it looked fun and some good deals were had.
This is one of my favorite videos of all time! Thank you so much!!
And I’d love to see the attachments sell!
Glad you enjoyed it!
attachments too please...that was fascinating!
🎯
The auction was fun to watch. Thanks Tim
Prices were close to where I would have expected in my area, except the 1025, and 3320 those were 2-3000 under.
I find spring auctions have much higher prices then fall ones. I rarely buy anything in spring as people pay more then I could sell them for even before the auction fee.
🎯
Good video and would love to see more like this.
Thanks!
They need a sign language interpreter for that auctioneer. I could not understand any prices. Anybody else have trouble with that?
Yes I would like to see the attachment sale thanks for the videos
Great to see your comments and then the final auction price. Surprising they really move the equipment fast!
Yes on the attachments Tim.
This was vary instructing for me have not been to a tractor sale. Seeing the sale for the other would be good too. Thanks guys.
I'm surprised at the high price for the 970, although they are nice little machines. I've operated my neighbour's 970 as well as my daughter's 950 ( earlier version of the 970)
I recently very nearly bought a low hour 970. On checking for parts availability at John Deere, I was told that many parts for these Yanmar built tractors are no longer available as they were only sold in small numbers. The Parts rep said this includes engine parts and driveline parts. The left hand front axle (4wd) housing sometimes breaks and they are not available at John Deere. I found folks searching online forums for the housings.
The rep said this lack of parts supply applied to the entire series of rebranded Yanmars, which ranged from quite tiny (650?) to the midsized 60pto HP 1650.
This all goes back to your recent video on choosing a tractor model. You made a good point about choosing a make and model which will continue to have dealer support ( parts)
It seems the model is most important of these two categories as even with these being the most common brand of tractor, it's not enough.
Again, nice little machines, provided you don't accidentally break them!
I count myself lucky for the tractor I bought off an older gent that had to get out from under the payments. 54 hours on it. When he gave me his original paperwork including payment stubs I couldn’t believe the price he bought at versus what I bought it for. So glad I stumbled on that one. Now I want a 2nd one to leave at another property so I don’t have to transport it anymore. This auction gave some insight for sure and would love to see the implements auction.
The B2650 was a steal. Massy was way high. Fun idea!
I think we can be confident the b2650 was in top notch shape given the story behind it.
That was a very interesting video Tim, thank you for sharing that with us. Prices seemed higher than what I would have guessed, but in todays market everything is higher.
Nice..allways wondered ...now i learned something...thanks...thumbs up
thanks for sharing the video and taking us along to the sale, love these videos like to compare prices to my area. can't wait to see the attachment video
🎯
Thanks for the video, been a while since I was at a tractor auction, amazing how the have gone up. Would like to see an attachment video also.
Wish you could attend more often thanks
Outstanding video, Yep I'd like to see the attachment auction too.
Great video! I would be interested in seeing the attachments too!
Thank you!
Love the auctions
Fascinating. We now have watched it twice! Such a crazy market, hard to make heads or tails of anything right now.
I liked this, I want to see more tractor auctions! You should start a new channel called Auction Time with Tim.
When is the next auction?
Link in description.
Awesome video. And Yes, I'd love to see the auction for the attachments as well.
Great video, moved quickly, tractors with no loader were cheap and the loader tractors were where they have been. Thanks
Yes, I would love to see the attachments in another video. Always like a good auction. Seems like the Kubota's were the majority of those in the video. It would be interesting to know the sales numbers of John Deere vs Kubota's through the years in like models.
I just bought 1992 kubota b20 with 90h on it and I love it. Great channel 👏
yes definitely interested in what the attachments sell like. never been to one of these auctions. didn't really get the appeal in buying other peoples used broken down machines and i always bought new or used great condition from the dealers.
Would like to how the attachments sell. Thanks for always putting out great knowledgeable videos
Awesome Tim thanks for sharing
Thank you for this great video series. Auctions are always interesting to watch as the real market value of an item is determined by the bidders. I was surprised by the higher prices paid for some of the older tractors without loaders. And lower prices paid for the nice looking IH M tractors. I am looking forward to your next video on the implement auction.
I agree. Like politics, all auction are ultimately local price discovery vehicles. Emphasis on LOCAL.
Tim,that was an A++ video. Thanks 😊.
Tim, the kioti’s new comparable model would be a cx2510. The ck2610 is a different frame size. Kioti updated the ck2510 in 2020 I believe. They upgraded to the side by side pedals among other things and renamed it to the CX2510.
Hi Tim & Christy. Another great video.. I always enjoy attending equipment auctions when I have time. It's always interesting to see what stuff goes for. Have a nice week..
Thanks Tim. Very informative.
Yes that was interesting Tim. Good job 👍
This was a fun watch, thanks for posting. Looks like used tractor prices are following used car prices!
I was going to suggest a follow-up with what they sold for. BTW, I got the notification for this vid. 1st one in a LONG time!
Great video! I feel quite thankful I got my new Johnnie 2 years ago!
🎯👍
Informative. Thanks.
Auctions are part of me, excellent place to think quick & have a value pre- estimated.
That was good. Attachments would be interesting too.
Excellent video, prices seemed a little high. thanks Larry
Have to admit seeing that B6200 had me thinking about one of my maternal great grandfathers. He had one of these very units as a backhoe exclusively. I want to say it was a gear drive transmission also. Of course it had that pesky treadle pedal.
This was a good glimpse in to the auction world and I bet the attachment one is the same.
Differently would like to see the attachment auction. This was another great video.
always enjoy teds sales been a while since i was their
Thanks for the video I thought it was very interesting on the prices and what the market is currently doing id like to see more of these type of videos if possible
Some nice lookin tractors & looks like you had some fun Tim !
Wish we could have seen the implements being auctioned. 👍
We published it a few days later….sort our videos by date. You’ll find it….TRACTOR ATTACHMENT AUCTION
This was cool, Thanks Tim
Love your ending Brother
Id like to see the attachment video. Some sold higher than I thought would. Have a Safe Day
This proves Tim Is a man of God...amen tim love your show, especially loved your bible message at the end...show character 😀
Absolutely Great Video Brother ! Great information 👍 👌 👏
I was a mechanic for a large city corporation yard and had intimate connections with vehicles that went to auction and there is a huge reason why these vehicles are now at some auction, buyer beware, most are ready to die and you may as well play the lotto thinking you are going to score at an auction. You get what you pay for and being cheap is mostly costly down the road.
Thank you it was informative
Very interesting! Like others have said, it is amazing how high they sell! Are there mainly end-users or dealers bidding? Is there a buyer's premium also?
No buyers premium. Both retail and wholesale bidding.
Great video. Would love to see the attachment auction. Most of these went higher than I thought, with a few bargains. Could barely understand the auctioneer, though! Would be afraid that I would bid myself up... Appreciate the verse at the end.
The bid takers help keep it straight.
Looks like fun!
Wow, this is the first time that I've seen a tractor sale like this. I've truly enjoyed watching it. Even more than I Love how you'll ended the video with the Word of God. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Welcome to our channel!
So true , Thank You
i have the yanmar 226d but with ag tires, loader, jd cab, rear blade, snowplow and brush hog. it gets a little more use in the winter.
First, thank you for creating and sharing this video. I found it valuable to me how you edited into the auction your previous recorded overview of the tractor being auctioned.
I have never been to a tractor auction. I have been to estate and bankrupt businesses bank auctions. This auction seemed incredibly different. Every item sold.
The auctions I attended resulted in, at best, half of the items getting even one bid.
Almost no brown wood furniture nor antiques get a single bid.
I saw an elderly wheelchair bound woman crying when she saw her elaborate collection of Hummel figurines selling for pennies on the dollar and her china cabinet not get a single bid. I found out later she was widowed and moving into an assisted living facility so there was simply no room for her many possessions. It was sad. It made me sad, but not sad enough to bid on items I would simply discard.
It seems to me that functional items in proper working order such as tools do well, but items of comfort, or generational style specific in nature simply have crashed in price.
The elderly people pretty much have their dark brown wood furniture set for their life yet the next generation simply does not want it at any price.
I’m open to someone correcting me if my limited experience is simply an anomaly.
People spend good money on what is essentially junk. I know people spending tens of thousands of dollars on stuff that has no use be sides being in a collection.
People still do this today buying crypto and non refungle tokens.
I love that 3 wing finish mower
Prices seemed pretty light overall compared to my market. It is amazing how much prices vary from one region of the country to another.
Not just prices, but equipment. I suspect if there isn't a local dealer near the buyer,/county, some of the tractors go for lower prices than if there was a dealer next door.
You mentioned the brake pedal on the same side as the hydrostat on that 1750. I had a Yanmar 324 with the same design. It was a good tractor but it sure made me nervous on a hill!.
Thank you Sir!
interesting. all sold higher than I thought they would. definitely would like to see the attachments sold. great video!
You need to come up and go with me to one of these auctions!
@@TractorTimewithTim I would love too!!!!
I enjoyed the video. Thank you. Prices seemed high to me.
Enjoyed the video and would love to see the attachments sell.
🎯👍
I cannot believe you didn’t sneak one or more of those old Olivers back home, Tim… 😁
Nice video Tim!
Interested in attachments! Thanks!
great stuffffff,,, thank u,, amen,,
I just about went last Friday. Wish I would have now.
It is a sellers market....for a little longer. Inflation is causing fuel, food, and insurance to increase. I foresee those maxed out on credit unloading some nice equipment for payoff before too long....within a year or two.
That was fun thx
Good video. I would like to see the attachments
Thank you Tim! It was nice to see what used tractors are going for. Thank you for the scripture too!
Thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words, Rick!
Yes show the attachments please
Good price on them
