PW1100G is so efficient that the blades don't need to spin as fast as the older engines to create the take off power. So the buzz noise on them are quite rare. That's why they are so scary quiet. Even when they do have the buzz, it's still such a small buzz. Beautiful departures. Fantastic views.
I'm curious about your setup for inflight videos. Is it just a GoPro with a suction mount? For the longer videos, I assume you're powering the camera from a power bank. We're flying from Brisbane to Norfolk Island in a few weeks and planning on filming the takeoffs and landings. I'll be using an old Hero 4 Black and possibly my Osmo Pocket, since we're in business class next to two windows.
Hi Steve, I just hold the gopro and try and lean against the wall to try and keep the footage stable. Suction mounts are extra stuff to carry around and might attract the attention of a flight attendant in a bad mood. Yes I carry a power pack and also a few batteries. :)
@@paulstewart2ndchannel Cheers Paul. I plan on using a universal lens hood on the GoPro, to cut out reflections. Bought it from Ultimate Lens Hood about 3 years ago and have never used it yet. 😀
ah yes! But tbh the reflections usually come from between the plastic window screens so if the sun is on your side (or the cabin lights are left on), I wouldn't expect it'll stop a lot.

i love hearing that buzzing sound from specifically those a320neo engines
Bonus thumbs up for the cute bubba during the taxi
Unexpected to hear buzzing noise in the PW1100G
A wonderful takeoff!

So, how do you hold the camera steady for the whole flight videos, or am I thinking of Noel Phillips? 🤣👨🏻🦲
that's Noel. I never really film out of the window for more than 5-10 minutes during landing and/or takeoff. He does use a mount.
Flew in on A321 ZK-OYB
Great video ✌️(✿◕‿◕✿)
“I love you but your so gross” 😂😂😂😂😂
