    Great video as always. Perhaps one suggestion as this would have been interesting to watch during start-up is to use the camera that you have at the top left of the video to show the EICAM screen instead and align it next to the PDF and NAV display?

    • @ApproachandDepartureVideos

      Thanks for watching and the suggestion. I would love to to it. But it is not that easy due to the very limited possible camera positions on the flight deck. Great video and very well presented. I did notice that the climb rate exceeded 15° to almost 20° and air speed reduced slightly towards Alpha prot. What is the max climb rate for A320.

    • @ApproachandDepartureVideos
      @ApproachandDepartureVideos  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching. Due to the great performance, the pitch may be a little higher to keep the speed target. Normal takeoff pitch values are always between 15 and 20 degrees, like you see in the video.
      There is no max climb rate. If the plane is empty and we would do a takeoff with max thrust and fly with V2 to V2 plus 10, we would see a few thousand feet a minute.

    • @ApproachandDepartureVideos
      @ApproachandDepartureVideos  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching and the great feedback! Takeoff no blue means that we check the ECAM screen with the electronic checklist and confirm that all the lines are green and nothing is blue anymore. If for example we would not have extended the flaps for takeoff, there would be an open blue item and a takeoff configuration warning would alert us.

    Hallo, wieder ein tolles Video... Mich würde mal interessieren wie weit nach dem Start die volle Reisegeschwindigkeit erreicht wird und wie schnell die ist. Ich weiß dass ihr das in Knoten angebt. mir würde jedoch die Angabe in KM/H interessieren

    • @ApproachandDepartureVideos
      @ApproachandDepartureVideos  6 месяцев назад

      Danke fürs Anschauen und dss gute Feedback! Die Reisegeschwindigkeit erreichen wir meist in der Reiseflughöhe. Sie variiert mit der genauen Reiseflughöhe, der Aussentemperatur, unserem Costindex ….. Eine wahre Eigengeschwindigkeit von 445 Knoten in 37000 Fuss ist ein realistischer Wert. Das sind etwa 824 kmh. Die Geschwindigkeit über Grund wird dann noch durch den Wind beeinflusst. Durch Rückenwind werden wir schneller über Grund und durch Gegenwind langsamer. Wenn wir 824 Stundenkilometer schnell fliegen und der Wind weht mit 200 kmh von hinten, beträgt unsere Geschwindigkeit über Grund 1024 kmh.

      I do not think that he did something wrong. It sounds like that his flightplan expired or he missed his ATC slot. So he had to update the flightplan with a new estimated offblock time. But this is just my guess. I do not know any details.

  • @canceylandigital

    I liked that the pilot did not use the autopilot for a long time.,, also Pratt and Whitney engine seems to be weaker than its rival boeing engines. Shortly after takeoff, it experiences a speed drop at 18-19 degrees angles. boeing Gm engines seem to be better in this regard.

    • @ApproachandDepartureVideos
      @ApproachandDepartureVideos  Год назад +3

      The plane in this video is fitted with CFM LEAP engines. The performance is outstanding. I do not know about Pratt and Whitney and Boeing, but what we see here is wonderful. A great improvement compared to the CEO.
      Speed gains or drops during takeoff or approach are normal, especially at this airport. This has nothing to do with the engines.

    Sind die Leute die am Flughafen arbeiten Angestellte beim Flughafen? Und wie viel Tage vorher werden eure Flüge angemeldet? Bei einem VFR Flug kann man theoretisch einfach hinfliegen, wie ist das beim Airliner?

    • @ApproachandDepartureVideos
      @ApproachandDepartureVideos  Год назад

      Das ist unterschiedlich. Manche sind direkt beim Flughafen angestellt. Andere arbeiten bei Unternehmen oder Behörden, die am Flughafen ihre Büros haben und ihre Dienste verrichten. Das ist darüber hinaus von Flughafen zu Flughafen sehr verschieden. Manche Flughäfen beschäftigen zum Beispiel Mitarbeiter, die Flugzeuge beladen und abfertigen. Andere Flughäfen tun das nicht und lassen diese Arbeiten von externen Firmen machen. Die meisten großen Flughäfen sind Flughäfen, für die man einen sogenannten Airport-Slot zum Start und zur Landung benötigt. Diese An- und Abflugzeiten werden normalerweise frühzeitig auf Basis der möglichen Flughafen-Kapazität koordiniert. Wenn man solch einen Slot einmal hat, kann man ihn immer weiter nutzen. Nutzt man ihn nicht mehr, verfällt er und wird an andere Fluggesellschaften vergeben. An manchen Flugplätzen sind diese Slots sehr begehrt und selten verfügbar. Zum Beispiel in London Heathrow oder New York JFK. Mailand Linate vergibt nur wenige Slots pro Stunde und diese sind heiß begehrt. Natürlich kann man auch einzelne Sonderflüge durchführen. Außerhalb der begehrten Stoßzeiten gibt es dafür sicher auch einen Slot. Einfach hinfliegen geht schon deshalb nicht, da man vor Ort vorher die Abfertigung vom Flughafenschalter bis zum Ladepersonal organisieren muss.
