Semi-trucks have unsynchronized manual transmissions that can have up to 18 gears(and possibly more). Usually, semi-truck drivers will generally learn how to shift gears without the clutch and literally pop the gear into neutral and precisely rev the engine to the correct rpm. Even with the clutch, rev-matching and double-clutching is needed :)
