Hey Guys, The top speed the Tenere World Raid hit on the track was 46MPH so congrats to Christopher Cuddy, Mrkips1, Jeff10, Wilbourne2010 & darkiee69 who were the first 5 to get it right. You guys send me a message on insta @oneminutemoto and I'll hook you up with a 999lazer snapback.
Hey brother look at some of our comments not sure if this is you or a dirt bag trying to steal information from hard working people with real jobs trying to make a deference in this world
Was the guy on the T7 a pro motocross rider? You only said he’s a guy with big balls who had never even rode a T7 before. I feel like you need to use the same rider for both laps to get a real comparison.
It really doesn’t even matter it’s a ridiculous comparison anyway. Yes it s cool an adventure bike can make it round a motocross track, but it’s like comparing a f150 raptor to a trophy truck. You’d be crazy to buy an adventure bike and use it like this.
@marlinnotfish. It does show what a heavy Enduro bike with good handling is Capable of in the hands of a skilled rider. If you have to get somewhere off road/cross country in a real damn hurry you won't be able to blame the machine for not getting you there quickly.
Thank you for this video, been scoping out ADV bikes and unable to make a decision for months, I am sold after watching this gentleman beat the piss out of that T7 and it take it like a champ.
Nice video max, Rob and Dan did a good job showing what the Yamaha is capable of on a motocross track in stock road mode ,except tyres. well done max and 49mph.
Looks a bit like the 450 guy is kinda cruising his lap, not slow but not really pushing as well... Hats off for the T7 rider, impressive ride on that heavy bike.
If the 700 was set up properly for max air on track speeds, it would be much closer. The braking is always gonna be better on a lighter bike. The 450 would get faster and faster as the track came to you, where as the bigger bike probably wouldn't get any better.
I have revalved and re sprung several of the T-7's - the stock suspension is in no way even close to up to the task for this. There is a lot less travel there than it looks. 8.3 inches in the front and 7.9 in the back and there is no practical way to get it up to 12 inches.......... Great job and really lucky no body got hurt....... that bike will put you down hard!!!!
I would have liked to have seen a comparison not with a YZ, but instead a WR; the YZ/T7transmissions are completely difference (wide vs close ratio) making a track comparison useless; at least with the WR, the two cross country bikes would have the same shortcomings on the track. Further, using the same rider in the comparison would have been more informative; Rob might be a great rider, but he obviously checked many of the jumps and turns...however... ...that might be because the Tenere needs a suspension and brake upgrade....BADLY....and would have provided Rob (and any rider) significantly more confidence. Sad that Yamaha made so much allowances for a plush ride rather than a performance ride, especially for a bike "designed" for wide-open cross country.
You can ride MX on anything if you are determined enough. My brother and neighbor were jumping Honda CB450s like their engineers could have never imagined. I was a little more sane and rode legit offroad/MX bikes.
Take a KTM adventure R Rally (the one with the stiffer suspension) trick it out with ecu's etc get most power out of it. And then let's see how close it would get to the fully race ready bike..
Awesome video. Love both bikes, I want a T7 so bad. I defiantly couldn’t ride it like that guy, but maybe take it through the kids track. The video was dope, except for the part about the hats. That part sucked.
Two great bikes, but I can't help but to feel this comparison was done a bit incorrect, if you look at the two riders driving styles they are very different, the 450 rider was more aggressive letting the 450 do its job, where as the 700 driver where more cautious, taking the corners very slow and only jump the power once he gets out. Yes I understand the T7 is a lot heavier compared to the YZ450F but if you are doing a comparison between two vehicles you need to be consistent and I think we would have gotten a better result if you used the same driver on both bikes.
Cool video. Great comparison. Would be cool to know more comparable time if Rob’s large balls would not slow him down. Honestly, cool way to show the T7 capability.
So you out to try an adventure bike shootout around the Motocross track. KTM690, 890adv r, Yamaha, Honda, etc... Husky etc... then get the fastest in each class of Adventure bikes. Then take the top ones and race against this motocross bike around the track. That would be cool.
Great video!! And Rob DOES HAVE HUGE BALLS TO DO WHAT WE SAW IN VIDEO 💪💪💪💪.. Absolutely the best footage I've ever seen of someone ACTUALLY challenging an "Adventure bike" off road 👏
This may be due to a number of factors, but it seems like most Euro tracks don’t have huge jumps like U.S. tracks. Is that a correct assessment, or does the camera just make it look smaller?
The KTM 690 would do much better (150lbs lighter than the T7) but would still get spanked by the 450 (which sounded lovely). That was some skilled flailing of the T7!
Next time add Allesandro Boturi and/or Pol Tarres and their competition T7, I am pretty sure they will go under 2min Also the T7wr does not come with 48mm suspension like mentioned in the video, that’s a $5000 aftermarket option. Standard T7wr has 43mm, just like std T7 but with assumably better components
Awesome video buddy. Just what I was wondering about the 700 seams like a very capable bike for lots of fun rides. I already have a 2018 wr450f that I love to ride
As one of the few other "loose nuts" Motocrossin' a stock ADV bike... Niiice!!! I've been using a stock 790 Adventure S for all my #XLMX content though I'd love to get my hands on a Tuareg 660 to test with! Same for me, about 20 seconds slower on MX track than the 250lb dirt bikes in the deep sand of Lazy Springs MX in SW Florida. Also, I've been about 55mph on the MX track so far with the 790... ;)
When can we expect to see the 2025 WR700F Super Moto? That's the one I want.. How much will it be? Been hankerin' for a Twin SuMoto with torque like the CP2. Hopefully a lot lighter than the adventure version?
Would it be possible of doing a few upgrades like suspension brakes exhaust and maybe try and remove a little bit of weight if possible and redo the test would be really interesting to see how much closer it would get to the yz

these clips are simply awesome @ subbed up.
Was the guy on the T7 a pro motocross rider? You only said he’s a guy with big balls who had never even rode a T7 before. I feel like you need to use the same rider for both laps to get a real comparison.
Rob Holyoake rode both mate if you didn’t know this by now and raced Dan thornhill time 👍🏻
we need Pol tarres to ride it😆

@@marlinnotfishexcept “trophy trucks” are retarded
@marlinnotfish. It does show what a heavy Enduro bike with good handling is Capable of in the hands of a skilled rider. If you have to get somewhere off road/cross country in a real damn hurry you won't be able to blame the machine for not getting you there quickly.
I own a T7. Not sure if this was the video I needed, or the path to my grave
Tenho uma T 600, 1992, rodando aqui na Amazônia. Mecânica espetacular. Inquebrável. Motor original a 30 anos!
my guess is 50 mph! would be interesting to see what the t7 can do with right suspension!
Thank you for this video, been scoping out ADV bikes and unable to make a decision for months, I am sold after watching this gentleman beat the piss out of that T7 and it take it like a champ.
Hilarious!
For what it is T7 impressive I've raced the 426 yz
Now own T7 love both. But 2 different worlds
I would love to see the main branches building touring bikes using the 450 as foundation. So light and powerful!!
yup I agree.
True @scottloftin1730
Great video, very interesting. I thought the Tenere would be more off the pace. Hats off to both riders. Excellent job! 47 mph 🤞
Thanks Joe, We'll pin the winners next Thursday at the top of the comments.
Thanks for taking the time and effort to make this comparison. Really appreciate.
I'd love to see it again with suspension mods or a Ktm 890R tackle the same track. Great video..
Im an ex-motocrosser and own a world raid, and i have to say this bike is very capable off-road for such a big heavy machine. I love it
Hardly seems fair. Apples vs oranges. Full race spec bike vs STOCK ADVENTURE? Impressive time, however for the Yamaha.
Interesting comparison.
67 MPH! This is a sick video love it max 🤟🏼

Great riding by Rob. Would be great to see with a more aggressive front tyre and obviously suspension. Great video idea as well. Very top gearish.
brilliant that my man!! 48mph
49 mph would be haulin that t7 at Cusses. enjoyed the content as allways guys
I'm saying 55mph, awesome video and that must've took some effort to muscle that thing around!
Great stuff! And what a bike the STOCK T7 is - amazing!
Honestly, it is a big enduro or Rally bike. An adventure bike is a level easier for travel, not making crazy and fast stuff.
49 mph awesome vid max i love those t7s so much it may be my dream bike but i got a few of those cheers lad!

It looked absolutely brutal the way it was smashing through the stroke. He'd be a sore puppy that night.
Yeah, 43mm forks and no mid-valve on a 450lb bike…crazy.
Excellent stunning performance of both drivers particularly the Tenere guy. Now take the bikes to the highway...
He done well I rode a new T7 in Wales march 22. Really good all rounder but definitely soft suspension

epic video as always max! me and the Mrs are torn . I over ruled and saying 55 mph ! brilliant brilliant brilliant! 👏
Thanks for watching Paddy, We'll pin the winners next Thursday at the top of the comments.

Take a KTM adventure R Rally (the one with the stiffer suspension) trick it out with ecu's etc get most power out of it. And then let's see how close it would get to the fully race ready bike..
49mph, really great vid! 🤙✌️

The video was dope, except for the part about the hats. That part sucked.
55mph I think and this was an epic video absolutely brilliant 👏 👌 👍👍
If that T7 is undamaged from all that, I may have to re think my options. Very impressive.
the bike was ridden back to the Yamaha hq after our shoot (around a 2 hour ride) and was still 100%. Thanks for watching
59mph i reckon, very cool video. Funny as my good mate just bought a T7 and i have a yz450
Thanks for watching , We'll pin the winners next Thursday at the top of the comments. sounds like you and your mate can have a re-match :)
This guy is a Moto cross expert if it was me riding the big Yamaha you would see real trouble/problems, the big Yammie is a real beast.
Damn good job to both riders, but the guy on the bloated, undersprung dual sport was pretty impressive. I couldn't catch him on a pure motocross bike.
They have been working in this type of bike for about a decade. The video is a good idea.

Hey Max, my guess would probably be around 57 mph.....great Video once again
I’m gonna say 57 in the faster sections🤷🏻♂️ Hats look wicked but also sweet as too see a different sort of off road video🤘🏻
There is a scammer acting like Max be very careful with your info
I don't know about motocross but they do quite well in hard enduro! Check Pol Tarrés in this year's Erzbergrodeo!
Yep , its amazing what Pol does on his T7. Thanks for watching.
Cool video. Great comparison. Would be cool to know more comparable time if Rob’s large balls would not slow him down.
Honestly, cool way to show the T7 capability.
Super, that was fun to watch. Thanks.
Thanks for watching
@@999lazer thank you for making it, and making it so interestingly, else I hae couldn't have watched!!

sick video guys! gonna test my t7 on an mx track this weekend!
Don't want a cap just want a Crack hahaha. 78kmh is my guess. First time watcher here that was a great video guys.
thanks for checking by & watching John :)

🤣
Best comparison I've seen
Just a raptor 700 engine wedged in there great for miles and miles but nothing beats a motocross bike for “motocross”
Damn good video mate
Awesome WR
Super interesting. As a T7 owner, I need to rethink my life.
i gues sit goes 55mph on the straights, great video- always fun to watch!
Another interesting video lad well done. 52 mph my guess.
Thanks for watching Russ, We'll pin the winners next Thursday at the top of the comments.
51mph/82kmh. Looked to be one particular section where it was up there. Nice job!

Scammer? Been through one of those dirt bags already
I’m going with 62mph! Great vid!
Good race. Thanks
Your vlogs are awasome pal I’d like to see a 1997 husaberg 600 mx bike build, sure Dave clarke racing will be a great help
Hi. What drone did you use to capture those awsome videos?
Ps: Love your videos
DJI FPV, thanks for watching
Чуваки, это круто! Спасибо за такой крутой тест!)))
Rob Holyoake, admits that he hadn't ridden thumpers enough to get real comfortable either. Still Awesome.
Lets see an adventure bike shoot out. Nice vid.
55mph! Great vid!
Would like to see this done again with the KTM 690 enduro R, in the mix, weight wise it sits in the middle of them both
Brilliant video loved it.
I think I may just buy a tenere next 🤔
44mph nice vid max

Imagine the t7 rider getting a second go at the track as he'd be more familiar with the bike and track. Also, if the suspension was tuned too.
Would it be possible of doing a few upgrades like suspension brakes exhaust and maybe try and remove a little bit of weight if possible and redo the test would be really interesting to see how much closer it would get to the yz
11,800 pounds? Damn, that's heavy!
Nice video but why use a stock T7 vs a modified yz450f? Anyways, love the content & cheers from Georgia, USA!
So pace wise the T7 is similar to an 85?
Awesome vid
Thankyou:)
Very nice test guys ... Now if you have the time for one lap can start challenge to ktm 890 r, desertx, africatwin ecc
Now I want to see what time can be done on a GS 😂
Gs 800 has much better front suspencion than stock t7 (not worl raid)
Yamaha revs the heart ❤️ I own 2 a road bike & a dirt bike.
54 mph . Great video.
top speed was probably the same as the zed. on the open it can obviously go A LOT faster but thats a lot of mass to try and slow down on a track
so its 124.7 to 145.5 sec not bad. I wonder how much more he could jump the T7 if you'd dial up the the suspension preload
Yeah that’s a no go for me lol looks like a blast though 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Love your channel bro, i just have one question why do you say "Y-Zed", isnt it just YZ
Nice video 💪
put a 2,5 rim on back and rimlock and put a mitchelin tracker on back and the dunlop on the front and try again i bet the time would be faster. 52mph
The T7 engine is the MT07 engine or the R7 engine...
But for the T7, did they use wider gears?
Great video. Bye from Venice
Top speed guess 43mph and it would've been really sick to see Thornhill ride the T7.
Should have had both guys ride both bikes.
Yeah Rob is the king of two strokes alright😂
62 mph awesome mix of videos mate, keep up the good work 👍🏻
