- So I know that you guys like macOS Operating System but the issue is we don't have the official resource to install macOS on our Windows 11 PC, but we can do some crazy stuff on our pc to make windows 11 look like mac. You just have to follow the tutorials and trust me guys it is very easy.

Maybe for _some_ of your apps. But lord forbid you're on gnome and run into a Qt or Tk app, or a Gtk1 or 2 app then it looks wrong again, unless you spent a whole bunch more time finding the exact same theme for all those toolkits and configuring them all individually one by one.

Thanks mate, it worked well. I did it as curiosity as I have macs at home. My only concern for people who do it is that all those packages can come with virus and malware. Also, system updates can break it, I used to built hackintosh 10 years ago. I know Macs are expensive but people don't realised you can pick up an old one and make it work. I bought a Mac Mini i7 2012 (AUD$300) and put 1TB SSD (AUD$150) and 16GB RAM (AUD$75) and now I am using to edit 4K video and responds quite well .
Yeah this is the state of tech nowadays, especially for the masses. I quick ram and hard drive upgrade and most people are doing the same things they’d do with a newer machine.
Sadly new systems can not do those now. Not even an SSD upgrade

I loved the tutorial, very easy to follow. I got so lost after the dockFinder though, as I didn't want to pay for it. I decided to not do this tutorial, so I restored my point. I dont know how, but that didn't work. Thanks for including all of the programs to uninstall manually. Lifesaver.
Also, for anybody who's experiencing performance issues while using any programs, it's not just you. I noticed a lot of performance issues, even loading the settings app.

If you are scared, just dual boot your PC with Linux (any distro you like, I recommend PopOS!) and customize it the way you want!

This just shows that the difference between these 2 software's is actually tiny. Like people should not be worked up over one is better than the other, and even if, one somehow is better at one thing the other still makes up for this. This is also the same for phones, as someone who has used both, I will not lie that apple is refreshing and simple compared to android. But. That does not mean that android does not make up for it in their customizability. what I'm trying to say is this is really cool.(ps could you link everything pretty please????)

maybe you can use multiple user, theme only applied in one user

it is not possible. Althought if you really want to the i suggest you to create a virtual machine. Its fairly simple there are thousands of guides teaching how to make one. Good Luck

Honestly, this is my subjective opinion, but what's the point of doing this with Windows, if then it's better to buy a macbook without problems and unnecessary launches, but purely if you are tired of the usual design of Windows, then you can try it purely for the sake of experiment.
This is an extremely useful and detailed tutorial, even though a hackintosh is a less complicated process. 😂

As someone who had a dual booting Hackintosh at one point, this isn't more complicated. That thing was a nightmare to setup.
Nice customization. Just one thing - You forgot to change the default Win11 GUI font "SegoeUI" to MacOS "San Francisco" font.
There is no point in doing so since rendering of fonts is still Windows'.
you can change it in the macos dock preferences in the Global settings which is located down

For all those who hate on macOS, don't you find it interesting that there are so many videos and articles about making your (windows/linux) look like macOS than there are about making macOS run or operate like Windows. IMO, the mac UI is the best and that is the main reason. Its been that way since the mid 90s when I started using computers and still holds true today.

if you want to try this, make sure your ok with your pc running extremely slow. the tutorial worked, but I went back to windows because of how long it took for apps to load up.

All I want is just to imitate the MacOS dock, not all the stuff. I'm okay with the Windows close, maximize and minimize buttons and where they are located. Do I need to do the "restore" thing if all I want is to change the dock's appearance? And what will happen if I do the "restore" thing? Will my files be deleted forever if I haven't do a back-up? Thanks.
The dock is the worst design of MacOS. waste of vertical space.

This is great but the minimize buttons is not there in all applications, only in file explorer and very few more, and it doesn't have all the features of mac, so there are different ways like downloading the macOS iso file in VirtualBox etc. We can get all the features of a mac.
Not supposed to replace windows, it’s to make windows look nice. If you want the features of a Mac just get a Mac.

I honestly don't get how mac users prefer the look of macOS. The only thing I like more from macOS is how consistent everything is unlike windows. But I don't get why anyone would prefer the look of the files manager on mac over windows's one. also imo the new windows 11 UI is really aesthetic.
It's incomplete without "Global menu" on the top panel just get KDE man!

the custom iconthemes dont increase ramuseage, the autostarted software will, but only slightly (a few megabytes) If you fear you might run into issues, try debloating your windows installation first
I have an i5 9400F, GTX 1070, and 16gb of ram. Don't have any issues at all. Was able to run games the same as always.

bro i've just done this and the total ram these programs use are ~ 150 mb
and ~ 2% cpu
so yeah these arent really resource hungry if you have a 4c/8t system and 8gb ram

Windows 11 ui is pretty close to macos now. As a gamer I would probably never try to make it look like macos and use up all the cpu power and ram.
