Yeah, funny thing with the Nine, the steering is actually modeled correctly, meaning if you remove the body of the car, there's no steering pole, which means no steering. _The More You Know 🌈⭐_
I think its because newer vehicles don't have their steering mechanically connected to the steering wheel, its electronic, so the loss of steering wheel isn't a problem.
@theminerboy5694 I'm pretty sure that newer cars still have mechanical rack & pinion steering, it's just that the steering is electronically assisted instead of using hydraulic power steering. Edit: After all, you wouldn't want to have no steering should the electronics in the car fail.
The amount of times I made indistinguishable panic noises while watching impending doom approach Alex's car is a larger number than I would care to openly admit.
Massive collisions, fires, explosions and rollovers . . right off! Genius! 10:36 "Was that Gliscor?" Oh no! 15:17 Alex: "This is a safe place!" ROFL. The best statement. I'm just rofl . . . almost literally. I'm laughing so hard you guys. Thanks so much.
26:57 or 30:08 if you look closely you see red truck and Cgoya second before hit/clip on the right side and 27:03 or 30:15 There is whats left of Cgoya on the right side still somewhat working, but it definitely hurt... no suprise that next truck going through there would put them out of their misery.
This has always been one of my favorites. A lovely combination of the interesting difficulty variation of the bulldog games, the chaos and speed of survive the descent, and the thrilling experience of watching a host of massive trucks rushing you while wildly out of control. Maybe varying the ramps to ones people are less familiar with might make for even more interesting strategies, as people have to react on the fly until they learn some decent routes? Though of course the angle changes on this one are definitely interesting, a couple one-offs on more complex ramps or even a straight would be something to see at least once or twice. I do wonder if perhaps bringing, like, a trailer with two 20' shipping containers or something by one of the trucks might be better than the logs, as I notice both the logs and the cement drum tend to roll like loose wheels and gain a lot of speed (and as such are absolutely devastating to what they do hit), but also in doing so they bounce clear over whole groups. Something more likely to slide would be interesting, and is I think part of the benefit of the empty dump trucks too. The fragmentation strategy of intentionally wiping out a box truck full of crates ahead of the groups is probably the endpoint of that. Shados probably could've made it with the bastion had they taken it like a switchback. The relatively less steep angle of using it as a diagonal tends to help.

I really would like for you to go down as well when you get hit rather then be the camera, I think the footage would be great and would be different which is always fun
have you tried one of these where the downhill vehicle remain the same as the climbing vehicle? might be a different flavor, being killed by a picolina hurtling downhill vs a ramp truck. :-)
Is there a way to add AI cars in this? Instead of only having a handful of cars coming down the hill, have like a Mad Max apocalyptic amount, just for fun lol Have it as a humans vs AI, so yall play on both sides trying to either win against or destroy the AI cars.
I've seen a number of videos on this track and I've never figured out precisely what the glowing coloured patches in the track are. Can anyone enlighten me? Thx.
Alex @ 15:09 "This is a safe place." Narrator: "It was, in fact, not a safe place".
_well be right back_
That was pretty much de-car-pitation 😭
best moment, cracked me up.
These keep uploading on my lunch break. I am very ok with this.
Same
12 noon here too.
Lols you central time too?
Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime... that's why Failrace goes on company time.
the logs bouncing down the hill was terrifying!
Shades of Final Destination for sure.
The googly eyes really do just add that extra level of unexpected hilarity that you can't help but laugh at.
"Forget the list. Alex goes to the block."
I don't think I've ever seen a car beheaded before. Thanks for that!

Of course they do, otherwise in the event of the car losing power you’d have no steering and die
@theminerboy5694 that's only the cybertruck. On most cars, it's hydraulically assisted (as it should be) and not full steer by wire.
Real ones remember the last Climb the shredder ended with an epic movie-esque moment in the final round where it was alex vs everyone else 😉
gliscor (i think) humming the ride of the valkyrie as the horde of murder trucks descended

Alex has new interior on his car. Its now a lovely shade of brown.
this series is my favorite i need more
“This is a safe place”
Angry truck: “And I took that personally”
Always enjoy these!
These obstacle/shredder races are fun. Have you ever tried relay races up and down.
That's a great idea
WHOOO!!! 23:00 That was very much a "Brown Pants" moment. LOL
I'm happy to see competitors put Alex into trees ect when he is trying to play it slow and safe
"someone fell asleep on their horn" took me out 🤣
Cheese is really dangerous on this track, especially de Brie 😂
🥁
Boo!
(I actually kind of like it.. but not enough!)
😂

this is a violent car version of bulldog from hell
Hah...it's 7pm over here😅
They need to do this but with random vehicles
Imagine it the other way round, big trucks vs small cars

It's not the gearbox that gets you up the hill faster. It's the final drive (differential) ratio.
Well, both will work, but final drive is easier.
9:27 - Fail Race just “FILLED” his shorts……..
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
14:57 - I love this “STRATEGY”
put a “DEATH PIT” in between you and the “SHREDDER”……
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Whenever you guys do this again, try doing a 1.0 power to weight, i feel like that would be interesting
awesome shots
Thoughts on combining this with bulldog?
On this Episode of Failrace, Tonight!
Nemesis Prime goes on a spectacular truck mode rampage
A Subaru BRAT climbs a hill
Alex gets milkshaked
Need live streams off this please 🙏
I really would like for you to go down as well when you get hit rather then be the camera, I think the footage would be great and would be different which is always fun
9:25 That was closer than Gillette 😂😂😂
Rush probably would have made it if node grab didn't break your drive shaft
you should import the mobile potty from gta to climb that hill XD
Saw Amy's Pov a few days ago
how can i join these game sessions, i rarely play online, as i keep only finding a bunch of toxic people, and id rather just have some good old fun.
The front of your car looks like a drunk Brum.

2:30 😂
Need a mod where debris DOES NOT reset.
That would break the fps very quickly because you're creating more and more nodes and beams every time.
Do you just play until fail wins these races?
17:08 😂
You have a strange accent.
Normal people: Blown
Alex: Blowan
Normal poeple: Thrown
Alex: Throwan
Time for you to look up or set the hotkey to toggle names over players.
Happy and safe 2025 ya'll!

Does anybody know the name of this map?
I think it's called Downhill Mayhem.
15:40 and 28:25 ... why not try driving backwards???
I've seen a number of videos on this track and I've never figured out precisely what the glowing coloured patches in the track are. Can anyone enlighten me? Thx.
Little bumps. Really can mess up the underside if you just speed over them
Alex,aka, jammy git.
1:40 is it just me, or does this look like a face?
Nackered?
First wooooo 🎉
Woooot.
