Okay, so apparently I'm not alone. When I hear a dog chewing a bone, I feel very calm and happy. Its kind of soothing. I guess its no stranger for those who like the sound of a fire in a fireplace. Very relaxing. Thanks for sharing this video.
For some strange reason this is very relaxing for me to watch.I think its the sound it makes. Its like it puts me in a hypnotic state of euphoria. I guess that might be hard to understand for some people. Hes a good dog..thanks for posting!

@JAREDMICHALLE He's a German Shepherd and Husky mix (and Lab and Golden Retriever...). He looks like a tan German Shepherd but has lanky back legs for running. I'll post another video of him soon.

If I gave my dog that bone, he'd walk around the house with it in his mouth, randomly stop and look at walls for a few seconds until he would eventually go outside and use his snout as a trowel to dig up dirt and attempt to bury it. He'd walk back inside after a few minutes smeared in soil, happy out. Why he doesn't use his paws to bury, I don't know.
@vpashwin he still has it. I'll let you know as soon as he finishes it! He prefers tennis balls, kleenex, and my feet. Every once in a while he treats himself to a real bone.

That synthetic stuff you get at pet stores can be just as bad if not worse. Dogs are still animals. And wild dogs DO chew on real bones. It's what's natural to them. There's nothing wrong with giving your dog a real bone so long as it isn't cooked (cooking is what causes a major risk of splintering as the heat dries out the bone and makes it brittle and easier to break apart). Ask any vet and they will tell you the same.
I think i have a fetish for hearing dogs eat bones and people eat stuff like soup. its not sexual just.. i really like hearing the sound. Make a video of your dog drinking a bowl of milk. That would sound awsome!

That is an unflavored, unsmoked bleached bone, not a rawhide, not stuffed. He still gnaws on it every now and then.

Bones are good for dogs teeth so there teeth are nice and healthy if you want your dog to have strong teeth buy them a chew toy or a bone
