The conviction is amazing! Even their normal selection has plenty of notes of honey, caramel and vanilla! I buy a bottle of it every month.

Good video. At 30 I would have grabbed a BT Store Pick. Also, those OWA Store Picks are awesome. Not sure if they had those for sale though. Thought I also saw an Old Forrester SBBS. Those are quite tasty as well. I love the KC Rye barrels picks. Enjoy, some good bottles.

I live in Myrtle Beach and I typically go back to my hometown near Atlanta to hunt. Prices in SC are astronomical compared to GA
I believe GA has a certain allocation process that makes the prices better. Not sure I need to look into it some more!

I live in Greenville, the hunting here is not very good. There's some decent stuff if you're lucky with timing, but the good stuff is usually either way overpriced or locked in the back room where you'll never see it. Its cool to see whats available down in the low country, great video!

Your video showed up in RUclips's algorithm because I'm a yuge fan of Bourbon Tube. I clicked on "Like" and "Subscribe" at the 3:30 mark when y'all showed that Marker's Mark 46 Cask Strength hasn't changed but has a new label. Well, I was in Cleveland this weekend, saw a bottle of the Maker's and THOUGHT it had changed. I scarfed that sucka up cackling like I had found a unicorn.
Little did I know that I was the sucka. D'OH!
Learned a hard lesson, but thanks for the education (even if it did come a little too late for my mastercard). 😵💫

A good test to see where MWND will end up is to taste the years batch of Rendezvous Rye... I'm sorry you got that particular batch especially at such an egregious price. I would have gone with blackened wes henderson. Its also a white port finish but higher proof and far more complex for $100
Good to know! I am a huge MWND guy so in all reality the sentimental value was worth it. Ive heard mixed opinions of Blackedend wes bottle
@Bourbon_Hunter fair. You have to like darker and heavier whiskey. MWND 2021 was absolutely excellent because of the fruit profile of that RR finished in the port. 2022 RR just tasted like a 6 yr old MGP rye with a light mouth feel. A lot of that transferred over after the port finishing process, especially the mouth feel.

Yeah passed on the BT store pick because you had to buy a store pick to even have the chance to get their Buffalo :-/ The Antique 107 was a sample bottle from a drop they had a while back not for sale. Im sure they’ll do another sp tho

The Knob Creek Rye 115 proof was super smooth for its proof point. The Buffalo Trace Single Barrel would be your go-to it was insanely smooth! Cheers 🥃
Where can you get Eagle Rare?
Its a tough one to find. A couple of stores in north charleston have it for $50 if you’re willing to pay a little more than normal. Everywhere in Mount Pleasant is picked clean of ER from tourists

($69.99). The guy in line in front of me bought the last Pappy 15 Year, so I got the 12 Year. First time I saw them on a shelf without a raffle or lotto.

This years MWND was such a disappointment. Price hike and simply doesn't stack up to the last 3 years releases. If you liked that Sagamore, they have a sherry finish that blows Act 10 outta the water for 1/3 of the price.

There are so many good bourbons out there that you can always find, Old Forrester, any of The Old Forrester line are great, Wild Turkey and their line Rare Breed, Russell Reserve, etc ,Knob Creek, just try some whiskey that you can always find,I think that you will enjoy them

I bought a bottle of Yellowstone Prohibition Style/ GARBAGE. Do not buy.
The taste test was no bad but I also decided to pass on it myself… yellow stone has been giving out TONS of barrel pics recently and I believe quality has went down…
