Also useful shortcut in browser is Ctrl + Tab to move to next tab or Ctrl + Shift + Tab to move to previous tab.
Also Ctrl + [number] to open tab by order number.
You might have already know space bar is used for 'page down' in browser. But for 'page up' hold 'shift' and press space bar.
I'm sure that will be useful for people without page up or page down keys on their keyboard.
Or who don't want to move their hands off home row and onto the side of their keyboard? It's not useless.

Just for fun, I started pushing keys "F" toggles Fullscreen "M" toggles Mute "Home" restarts video "End" goes to end of video Arrow up increases video volume, arrow down decreases video volume.
And as previously mentioned "J" skips back a little "K" toggles pause, "L" skips forward a little
wow I didn't know about the home and end about viewing videos. This is an off the charts great tip. Thank you.

Instead of "Ctrl + L", you can simply press, F6. You can type on your Address bar, or copy-paste.

one addition to the tv mode: if you're in the same network you can connect your smartphone or tablet to the running instance of youtube-tv via settings and use it as a youtube remote while watching it on the big screen. you can even use another browser window on your pc to add items to the playlist.

+TechGumbo I Australia there's a device called "Google Chrome TV" {USB}. How does anyone use Google on there TV without a computer keyboard plugged into the TV? *Also* Sometimes at the internet cafe I get a Google Chrome homepage on the P.C I have chosen to use that doesn't have a link at the top for a download of extra security - How do I get the Google page like that to bring up the *Extra security download Tab*?

Sounds like things have been crazy in Venezuela lately. Hopefully the protests stop soon.
In most chrome or firefox based browsers you may try simply pressing F6 insted of Alt + D to jump to the address bar. Also Alt + D combination also works for Windows Explorer.

holding ctrl and pressing "TAB" button lets you switich to the next opened tab ( Firefox, I forgot if it's on any browser ) . If you need to handle multiple tabs or open multiple links I recommend Multi Links + Firefox add-on, and Multiple Tab handler

You forgot one, for fast web browsing. Instead of typing in the entire address into the omni box to navigate to another page, (E.G.) say you want to go to Stumbleupon it, most people type in the www and the .com. Instead simply type in stumbleuponit, then press control + enter and you're there. Control + enter automatically puts in the www. and the .com.
on explorer you can use inprivate mode so that your browsing history wont be save or traced

Hey tech gumbo I need a help, when I am copy and pasting notepad night mode code in chrome browser and hitting enter key its not turning into night mode means "Black", so what to do now?
to pause a youtube video, press "K" key, press it again to resume video; to fast-forward a youtube video a few seconds, press "L" key; to rewind a youtube video a few seconds, press "J" key

Actually, you can pause the video with spacebar and rewind or fastforward by 5 seconds simply by pressing the left and right arrow keys.
You can double tap on the left or right of your mobile screen to fast forward/rewind too.
you can increase/decrease the volume by pressing the up/down key, and if you stop the video you can navigate frame by frame with the ',' and '.' keys

"Do a barrell roll" still works. Make it snow quit working a long time ago. I guess it conflicted with their weather information.

F6 to start typing in the address bar. And press ctrl+enter to automatically add ".com" at the end
adding .com at the end doesn't cut it cause Chrome automatically if it recognizes a website will auto-complete after typing the 1st few letters of the site and all you have to do is if the auto-complete satisfies you, just hit tab and enter.

That is a good idea!
For those who have the unique video code for a you tube video and were viewing it on you tube tv and want to switch to regular you tube viewing of the same video just copy the unique code which is right after the v= in the url and go to regular you tube and place this unique code in the search box. Voila your video which you were viewing is right in front of you and it's by itself with no other non related videos included and if you click on the video it will continue where you left off of from you tube tv.
Also worth noting that Ctwl + W closes the current tab.

In Opera,you can configure to keeping all tab you open when you close Opera

Many browsers have that option.
ctrl + 1-9 for quick switch between tabs. 9 will always be the last page.

if you are using incognito.. you cant do Ctrl+Shift+T it will not save your tab.. try if you want..
