It's. beautiful however I don't understand why so chunky? Is it for for show or can you actually use it to journal? That's why I gave it a thumbs down it's just overwhelming
Speechless 🙊 your workmanship is beyond words...each of your journals is more fabulous than the one before. The owner of this Journal will never be bored and will be inspired by each turn of the page. Thank you for sharing with us
Pam, love LOVE your cover. It's gorgeous. The entire journal is priceless. Your art work is positively beautiful. Fabulous charm. Oh goodness, "Florida JJ friend" this is amazing. And don't rush, you are fine. I have to tell you, I love following you, you are such an inspiration.and you are so sweet to think about your "audience. Hugs🤗
Yes I would LOVE for you to show us how to use junk mail in our junk journal. That's what got me into "junk journaling" to begin with. But I have a hard time finding videos that stay true to the "junk" part of junk journaling (aside from the 2 ladies you mentioned and yourself that is :) Thank you for sharing your gorgeous journals with us! I absolutely adore your videos!
Hi again! Already commented on Part 2 of this journal, but had to comment again. This is just an amazing journal! So many great ideas you have given me 😁 And this is just a gorgeous junk journal! SO MANY wonderful things you did. I am truly amazed and thankful you shared this! 🙏🏻💕
Hi I have been learning from you for at least a year. I’ve been in the background. I have to say, you have the gift of gab and I freaking love it. You make things so simple and fun. I still consider myself a beginner but I’m on Facebook and RUclips. My followers always and I mean always buy every junk journal I do as I’m doing my lives teaching them. I send them your videos and I spread the love for you. BTW is DOGGIE is precious. You make me snicker a lot. Let me tell you something missy. Don’t you every stop doing what you do from rude comments. We all get them and we really want to snatch them up. But we can’t we just pray for them. Lolololol. I love you and you are really a great teacher. I love how you actually use original vintage pieces. I find it hard to part with them but I do in the end. You are my a god send for many subscribers Ty so much
Another insanely beautiful masterpiece! Holy smokes what a Treasure! You sure are an Outstanding journalmaker! Like the saying by the 90-year old; 'Still have a lot to learn'! I used to work as a nutrition advisor (and health consultant) and the more I studied nutrition, the more I realized how little I know...!! Love the mandala stencil print that you have on one of the spreads. Have loved mandalas since Dalai Lama came to my home town, Lund. Along with him came several Tibetian monks that did an unbelievable mandala in different colors with that original technique buddhism way. When giving his speech (about being happy) on stage in front of a big audience, Dalai Lama was asked this: "Yesterday there was a rock concert in Lund, and the audience was half compared to all the people here today. Why do you think that is?". Without a second of hesitation he said: "False expectations"!! Everybody in the audience laughed, since we probably all felt 'caught out'. Like Dalai Lama's inner happiness would rub off on all of us by just being there. Obviously that's not possible, everybody has to work on that for themselves. And I'd say crafting is a very good step on the way!! :) Ditte
Thanks Ditte! Wonderful Dalai Lama story! I agree, we are all on our own journey and it is nice to cross paths occasionally for a new perspective :) I feel like crafting is zen time for me :) I always feel better after a good crafting session :) Its like a nice warm shower :) Pam :) !!
I have just discovered your channel and have subscribed. Really love your style of journals and you are very slightly crazy, which I love! Thanks for sharing and being so inspiring. Looking forward to more.
Amy Johnson a John's she is so wonderful she is so smart she can think of so many things that I just you just never know what she's going to think of next
What a absolutely amazing journal..👏👏😍 I just love to see all your journals you have made. What a talent and a huge inspiration for me. Thanks for sharing 😀👍 Hugs from Denmark 🇩🇰 🙏❤️
WOW!!!!! I'm impressed! I would love to own a journal you made! I had a couple of specific thoughts: 1)did you know it's illegal to put acetone down the drain in the US? 2) Elizabeth Cady Stanton and I both graduated from the same High School (as did Jane Fonda who was my commencement speaker). Oh, and Kirsten Gillibrand too!
Pam, you could make three journals out of that! 😮😃 I always stop myself from adding too much because I know the user of the journal would be sticking their own things, making the book even chubbier. I don't want the journal to fall apart.
I'm sorry that comment was very rude and completely out of line... I respect the work you do making these videos. I will try to be a kinder person today...CB
Do you make and sell any of these. I LOVE this one. With the disease I have it’s hard for me to use my hands, my fingers dislocate. I wish I could make one of these. I would want this exact one it’s gorgeous!!! 🦋🦋🦋
Hi Suzi, I make about one a month and put it up for sale on Etsy. If you favorite my shop you should get a notification when I list something new :) I don't do custom orders right now but I do many nature themed and also Vintage style journals :) Hope this helps :)
You have enough decoration in this one book to do 4 journals. It just seems to me that it is a waste to stuff it so much. The real purpose of a journal gets lost in your need to decorate, even though overall this quite beautiful. I just like the estatic of this overstuffed book.
The nice thing about making journals is that there are no rules and we can make them anyway we like :) I am an avid overstuffer. I am not sure how that came about but I have so much darn fun stuffing the beejeebers out of them I kept doing it. My hubby would give me the eyeroll meaning "no one could possibly journal in that monstrosity of a book". Finally I got the courage to put some up for sale, and they sold. We both almost fell off the couch. It was that day I learned there were others who liked the chunky monkey style too :) There is a journal style for everyone. Find your own special style and then have as much fun as possible creating them :)
@@ThePaperOutpost Like I said, the book is quit beautiful. When start making journals, which will be soon, I think I'm going to be the person who makes my books as journals first, and scrapping albums second. My taste. You do have great fun making yours and I am learning so much by watching your videos.
I love this journal, can you tell me how many Signatures you started with, because l am making my first journal book and I have been making all the embellishments to place in my book, sorry l follow your tutorial on them, so l am trying to add them to my book, thank you again for all help
I am so excited for you Christal!! :) In these big journals I usually place 5 signatures with 10-12 full pages in each signature. When you fold the pages in half this would give you 40-48 pages per signature front and back . Multiple your full pages by 4 to get your front and back page count :) Then I would stuff this puppy to the gills! But that's me ;0) Have a blast making your journal! :) Please keep me posted and your questions are always welcomed! :)
@@ThePaperOutpost thank you, l am making a journal book that has 3 signatures 10 pages each, book size 8x 51/2, do you think that is to many page's in this size book
@@christalscott956 Spine width will determine how many signatures and pages generally. 1 inch spine = 2-3 signatures of 10-12 pages each for me. For a 2/12 inch spine I will go up to 5 signatures with 10-12 pages in it. I really load my books up with ephemera but if you plan on leaving lots of blank pages you can fit even more pages in :)
Hi Anna, yes this one is sold. I have a new journal (Winter/Christmas nature theme) coming out for sale tomorrow morning :) It will be on Etsy for sale and there will be a youtube video with a flip through of it :) Thanks for your interest! :) Pam :)
