Hello Heather. I don't know what happened to you, but I can relate to all the things that you're saying. I went through a really bad time a few years ago when there was no light at the end of the tunnel. With the help of some very beautiful people I have managed to come out the other end. I still have bad days and am reminded by a very special aunt that I'm to look how far I've come and she reminds me how strong I am. You have a really wonderful way to help you along the way. An amazing journal and talent. I just wanted to say that you are strong and a beautiful person. Keep living each day as it comes. Take care 💙
Thank you for the beautiful and necessary reminder that with God all things are possible. I have had my share of dark days but my hope rests in the light of His love never leaving us or forsaking us. I just love this journal community, and using beautiful papers and embellishments to express in paper what the heart feels most. A profound thank you Heather for this uplifting reminder and expression of your heart.

I love watching and hearing peoples thoughts while they create and why and what they choose. Your Journal is coming along beautifully. I think it was a stormy season for many this year, I just make sure I always give thanks for being able to be here and weather those storms, with God by my side i can get through anything. My dear Heather, going through difficult seasons can be so hard for us .. This year has also brought so much hard/ grief ( especially regarding my daughter Lindsey who is only 28 next week & will never be the same person again after being so badly injured ( burned over 62% over her body) Seeing a counselor who suggested this very thing!! Funny creating these beautiful journals and writing/ journaling for 37 years, I’d never really thought about this and tiled mine “Soul full “ starting smiling w/ I saw you tiled yours “Soul Wish “

Primarily places I can write favorite uplifting quotes, song lyrics , poetry ,scripture that has truly inspired me on this journey - ok , I’m so sorry for this lengthy rant but, I’m forever grateful that you have chosen to share this story especially so unexpectedly ( for me) such a beautiful sign !! Oh goodness 🦢 now tears 🥲

I meant to mention in my video that if you go to counseling for any reason at all the first thing they usually do is tell you to start a journal. It can be so healing to give yourself a place to write your thoughts. Sending much love and prayers to you and your family ❤️❤️❤️
@@rubyandpearlxo quick note - my counselor asked me to bring in my journal as she has started to journal in January & finding it hard to keep up with it - she has orders one from me - my first sale EVER ! She was so inspired by just the simplistic way of journaling I do - and absolutely adored the pages / secret places to write et. I used primarily all of the many kits by R&P xo - she chose some of her favorites and told me to run w/ it !!

Beautiful! I had just stepped away from my desk working on my own Song Book journal using your kits. Just playing with pretty papers is so healing, and your kits make it easy. I've been praying for you, and have been so inspired by your accomplishments this last year. Your beautiful spirit is easy to see in your videos. God hasn't forgotten you. Oh Heather, you are so inspiring and it is so good that you are channeling your grief into creativity… We all know it has been hard…. My husband fell and had a stroke a year ago today. It was a long journey and he is doing well now. We all love you and all that you share with us, both of your life and your beautiful spirit. Be well.

It’s just lovely Heather -I am working on a journal for myself now -it’s been awhile since I’ve done one just for me -hang in there-Loss is hard-my husband has Alzheimer’s-hd is still physically here -but I lost “him” years ago -I celebrate the moments I see glimpses of him -crafting & journaling helps me thru the rough days -hugs -you are an incredible person & an inspiration to us all -TFS ❤

Heather the Lord sent me Psalms 91 years ago as I served as a missionary in Guatemala. A young girl had written it on the sail of the boat she made. She said the Lord told her to tell me the first line of the Psalm. Blown away is an understatement! In hindsight, I believe He was preparing me for what was to come. This was before C19. More recently, I ask Him about the scripture 91:11 when I was having a particularly difficult day. I repeated His promise to me back to Him that day in prayer. He answered on Friday with a pair of boots with that scripture engraved on the soles. My, my He always sees and hears His children!
You are a strong woman and so inspiring to many. This is exactly what I needed to find. Thank you for the idea. I have your inspiration notes already printed, so I'll go from there. This year has started out at the very bottom for me and I'm going to start gathering for a "Soul Wish" journal and after my health report mid March, I will begin. I wouldn't want my family to find it in case my results weren't favorable. This will keep me focused on the positive. Thank you Heather❤💓💜
I am still watching the following sunday and wondering why I love this junk journaling so much. It is not really a need to put memories together because the ephemera is not mine but somehow the look and feel and colour of what you do brings up deep emotions in me and I wonder if it is in my ancestral memory chain somewhere. Why do we want to put together scraps of fabric and lace and paper. If you didn't understand it or were looking at it from the outside you would be wondering I think. It haunts me junk journaling. I haven't worked out the reason yet.🥰

Heather, I’m happy to hear you are healing from the events of last year. I wish I could tell you it gets better but I know from experience there will always be that void. But surrounding yourself with friends and family truly does ease the pain. This journal sounds like it will be a beautiful way to write about your thoughts, etc. I love all the symbolism with the numbers. The swan hold a special place in my heart too as there is a connection between the swan and my late husband. I think I am going to make a journal like this for myself. My mother just died and this video spoke to me so going to look through my stash and start my own soul wish while thinking of her. 90 years old and with lots of health issues, but she still had her mind and loved paper all her life...fabric too. Looking forward to gathering up goodies for this idea, thank you.

Heather - this journal just keeps getting better and better. You certainly capture beauty from you soul, and it shines through your work that you so graciously share with us all. I think that we all go through bad and rough times, and it seems that we just hit the wall, but we learn that we must go on, but we learn that we can go on.
