Love this style of collages , it’s like mixing old and new and I love incorporating fabric and laces. Giving me ideas.
By the way try going to dress shops or stores that make prom dresses or bridal or evening gowns and ask for their fabric scraps . Most of them throw them away . I did that and the shop owner gave me 2 huge bags of fabric scraps with beautiful pieces of laces and fabric materials that could last me for years. Saved me lots of money. 😊
Ohhh, every time I watch your video’s I’m surprised. I love how you put everything together! I am totally hooked on your kits too. I want them all. They are the most fabulous. Thank you for being here 😍😘
I don’t know how many times that I’ve watched this video, but it never gets old-it just gets better!!
Thrilled to see this on my feed! Missing you very much. Our styles and aesthetic sensibilities are so different and I find yours to be such a breath of fresh air. Try as I might I never come close to creating the free flowing unselfconscious light and airy look that you achieve. Your use of color is so subtle! Gorgeous. Thank you for being you. And for sharing your hard work and many talents with us. 💜
I told my husband the other day that I have to be the slowest crafter. Everything has to fit, be coordinated and pleasing to the eye. Then I worry if the recipients will see something I missed. None of my friends craft, so anything they get they love. I’m sitting here now with bits and bobs, which are turning into clusters. Trying hard to just do and not fret.
Identified with your post ! The creations are heavenly and lightest of touch
The first crafters I watched (junk journal) used inking heavily, added stamping, labels , extra collages, fussy cuts, numbers, lace, muslins, words etc all on the one botanical label.
I was overwhelmed ; let alone not having the products.
Seeing Ruby and Pearl was liberating .. the of lightest touch with gorgeous papers
and joyful creativity
I like to relax with a cuppa listening to Heather’s voice as she creates gorgeous gorgeousness. Bliss

@@annabellagardner3190 💜💜💜 Heather's touch is magic!
So well said Angelene. I totally agree❤
@@robinsutton4952I so relate to your comment. I have been practicing the fine art of not being so picky in my crafting. I tell myself that any selection I make will work and look lovely. I have so much product to work with that make choosing hard sometimes. But I am improving. While I love the details in my work and have a keen eye for detail I enjoy the free flow of selecting at random and just going with it. Here’s to your crafting continuing to be a joy to you as it is for me.
Hi heather! Thank you so much for your tutorial process video …. Love your collages. 😍 I’m working on a valentines swap journal and I’m getting some great ideas from you! Appreciate you so much 🤗 💝
Hi Heather...I so enjoyed watching you create. You make it look effortless but I know it isn't. I agree with Betty that watching you tear your papers is amazing. You do it so perfectly. When I do it it's a hit or miss, mostly miss. Lol. Anyway I'm so happy to see you back. Take care dear heart. 😘
I just love how you tear the papers and rough them up - they look so amazing and natural! I wat to do that too - thanks forthright inspiration!
I could watch you all day making these things- you make it seem so easy, & it so isn't! Just stunning, every piece. X
Recently found your shop and saw things on IG you created, I bought some of the vintage ladies on Etsy from your shop, as I was drawn to them..they so much look like photos of my grandma who was born in 1904 or mother born in 1921..and all of the family from that era. I also have several old photos of my family I need to be using now after watching you create! Now watching you create art from your work is truly a gift. Thanks so much for sharing and inspiring me!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration. This looks like a great way to spend an afternoon with my hubby while he watches car racing and football on TV. I love the bundles you made. Thanks again! 💜
I’ve watched this video several times, you are so inspiring! I love your aesthetic and how you recreate the vintage look. These bundles look like something found in great grandmother’s nightstand ❤ thank you for sharing all your tips and resources!
I fall in love with your kits and creations all over again when I call by for inspiration. Bella

Beautiful. This is my first time to your channel. I have to tell you that I once thought of naming my Etsy shop "Ruby & Pearl". Those were the names of my two grandmothers. I can hardly wait to explore your channel more.
Heather, you make this look effortless - the combinations you choose are so pleasing to the eye. I admire the way you pull it all together on the fly, while recording! You are AMAZINGLY talented!! 🙂

Thrilled to see your video today, Heather! Love watching you make these little collages & then “auditioning” them to put in your journal. What a great idea to make a little package to send out as a gift to someone else, super sweet! Who wouldn’t be over the moon to see such a thoughtful gift arrive? Gilly
Love, love LOVE!! These collage bundles are so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your ideas, creativity, and especially how to bundle them up, so pretty and meaningful! xo
Amazing video with so many things to admire…layering technique, bend, fold, ink a little, rough edges. I especially love the way you fold and glue backing paper to partially frame focal point. You’ve helped me to see collage in an entirely new way. Thank you!
This is invaluable to witness. You have such an artistic eye - what a gift. Thank you for sharing it/you with us. 🤍🤍🤍
Thank you Heather for this inspiring video!🧚♀️ I will be watching it over and over again, there is so much to learn from your beautiful seemingly effortless compositions! I love ‘little’ things, so these are perfect for me! I’ve learnt so much from your GF videos, how you scrunch up the papers for an aged look ect! LOve all you do to encourage us with your amazing collages! Thank you.🙏🏻😘
Absolutely love how you work your paper magic!!!!! Beautiful and fun ways to use all your printed papers!!!
Hi Heather, welcome back. Thank you for sharing your beautiful ideas and inspiration, you make everything so beautiful. Hugs
I am commenting on this video 11 months later so I am late to this party. But I enjoyed this so much. I love your digitals and have used them in many of my creations. I think having a private party with myself and a cup of coffee making collages like this would be a joy. Thanks Heather for sharing your creativity and artistic flair with us.
I so agree with you about finding it difficult to tear a beauty up! Once it's torn it's much easier, so doing it in advance as you suggest, for no reason or project is what I'm going to do! Brilliant idea. These collages are so simple and lovely and enticing. Now we will see them everywhere 💖💖
So lovely and the end product seems much more complicated than it is. Thanks for showing us.
Your work is so beautiful. I love the torn edges stenciling and texture paste that give dimension and lovely laces that you use. Have a nice day and thank you.
So relaxing to watch you create! 🤍
Thank you! This is such a great idea and I have so so much little ephemera and scrap left overs that I am getting buried in them. This is like making little cards out of all that stuff. Great idea! It seems a project one can take on the road too.
What a pleasure to watch you create! Blessings to you! xx
Yay, watching your video again to refresh my memory on some inspirations. lol the good news is that I already have most of those kits. Just love your creations.
This is exactly what I needed to see… you made me want to pull out all of my junk journal & ephemera stuff 😍 thank you for this simple but beautiful video!!
Amei o formato do vídeo e ver como foi o encontro de vcs! Achei o máximo as vaquinhas no centro da mesa, participando de tudo. 😍🥰
What a wonderful video! Not only did I enjoy watching you tear, my favorite part had to be when you bent and tore the paper. It shows authenticity to the vintage look. Thank you for sharing.
Heather you make it look so simple! And it is simply beautiful! Love watching you create💝🌹
So glad to see your back Heather!! Hope you are doing well, taking it one day at a time❤️You are such an inspiration to me and so so many others. Love these little collages💕
Welcome back Heather! It was so relaxing to watch you match, tear, rough up and glue those papers together to get such beautiful results! Thank you for the inspiration. 😊
You make it look so easy! It’s harder than it looks (at least to me).
Totally fabulous tutorial Heather. You have such beautiful papers. I am definitely going to try this and not overthink it as that is likely why I struggle at times x Thank you so much for all the inspiration you provide 🙏🌹💐
Welcome back, Heather. It’s such a delight having you in my subscription feed again. Blessings to you. I adore everything you shared today per usual. 🙌📄✂️🌈💕🦋🥰
I love these bundles. I love the ribbon you used to tie them as well. Lovely 🦋
I'm so in love with these. Thank you so much for the tutorial. 🌹🌹🌹
Oh my. I absolutely loved this tutorial. This evening I made about a dozen of these. I like your advice about picking "three things." Sometimes I get so hung up on matchy matchy. I need to be more random. They turned out great. Now to embellish a bit. Thank you so much!
Absolutely stunning Heather. You are always so inspiring. Xx
I love these beautiful bundles so much 😍😍 I love the idea of sending out these cute little stacks as happy mail 💕 Thank you so much for always inspiring us my beautiful friend 😘💕 and thank you for the stamp mention too 🥰💕💕💕
Such wonderfully sweet bundles of joy🤍🤍🤍 Love all the layering, stacking and tying them up all pretty 😍
Wow Heather, so gorgeous. I never sit and do bundles of ephemera etc. I really should start. Everything I was like, ohhhhh…. Really beautiful collaging.❤
I love how you make use of your blank edges of the book pages by hap-hazardly folding and distressing them. I love your creativity and how your mind works when putting these together. Thank you for the beautiful video. 🌻☺️🌻
Watching you is so lovely.....I adore your work....I hope soon to have a printer...then I can have some of your digitals...❤❤
You are such an inspiration and I love your beautiful bundles of ephemera 🥰💐
Yes hard to tear and cut your beautiful papers but they look so good when we do. Thank you.
Hi Heather thank you so much for sharing with us all, I could watch you all day tear papers and create such beautiful pieces, it was just what I needed today, thank you my friend 🤗❤️
Chalk pastel coloring sealed with hair spray looks like a hand-colored, oil-tinted B&W photo.
Love your process and the mindset of just creating and not all the details of thinking about where they will be used. Oh and also limits on how many pieces used 😊👍
Your ephemera is so beautiful. I like the idea of having a variety at the ready. I also love pictures of people reading and sweet birds! I will try this Idea soon. Thank you.
Madilyn here. I loved watching your stages of your collages. They may be simple but in a simply beautiful way. You indeed are an artist.
I am so excited to see a video from you. Hugs❤️

Wow❤️ your layering is amazing, I could watch you all day! Loved it all! Take care! 💖💖💖
