    I wasn’t raised being one biblically n it feels soooo treacherous 😭😭😭😭 it’s like I don’t want to be one based on how much needs to be done n the explanation on what home making truly is but I have a strong desire to be one😭😭😭😭

    • @faithfulacresfarmhouse
      @faithfulacresfarmhouse  19 дней назад

      Although raised Biblically, I still had the same feeling you have. Honestly, the closer I get to God, the more I'm able to enjoy homemaking and see the purpose. I have also (very recently) let go of my desire for everything to be perfect, and rather focused on the kitchen being clean after every meal, and the living room clutter free (not toy free). I also have my kids help more with picking up all their toys throughout the day and before bed. I found that if my most loved and used rooms in the home are tidied, my stress on the amount I "need to do" is so much lower.

    people over possessions! Love the table ware. We eat off of nice dishes quite frequently & we ALWAYS eat off of real dishes & cloth napkins. I have inherited my great grandmother's dish set & use it for every big holiday we host. Then I have dish ware that I get at the Salvation Army, handed down from other relatives, & sometimes....even free off the SIDE OF THE ROAD!!!! People will get rid of the dangdest things out my way. And if one breaks 🤷. people over possessions. I just hosted a Valentines Tea Party for several of my 'little' friends & used my fancy teacups from my grandma. Nothing broke - kids are usually in awe of fancy stuff & should be taught to treat things with care. No way to do that unless you teach that lesson

      Thank you! I am planning a "planning" video so I will definitely go into depth more. It's hard because I wanted so many templates for people's different ways of planning (daily, weekly, timed, rhythm, etc.) but I can definitely show you how I do it, or it can be used. It is hard to find Scriptures and books in the Bible if you aren't super familiar with it. Don't worry, I don't know the order of every book and still struggle to find verses. 😊 You're not alone. 🥰 It can be very overwhelming and confusing, so give yourself grace. Genesis is a great place to start!

Like I've said before - I'm looking for helpful ways to change up my routines and I love what you said about assigning spot for the tasks I need to do throughout the day/week/month. I am testing some things out to try and figure out what is going to work best for me.
    Also, I love how calm, patient and composed you were when you were talking and holding your baby. Being calm and patient with my kids is something I've been working on a lot lately, I've improved tremendously over the summer through prayer asking God to help guide me. 🥰

    • @faithfulacresfarmhouse
      @faithfulacresfarmhouse  9 месяцев назад +1

      That is very beautiful, it great to see God is working on your heart. Know you're not alone in the patience part. God has slowly worked on my heart too. He can't quite crawl so he's at the point where he wants to be free, but the. I put him down and his legs move but not his arms, so then he's mad. I definitely struggle more with patience and being frustrated with my older kids though. I always get into a routine and then slowly realize I don't like a lot of it, so am always changing. Hopefully, you can find something that works well for you! It's not always as easy as it sounds.

      @@faithfulacresfarmhouse I'm glad I'm not alone! I know some other moms struggle with this too, and I believe it is the older kids that test our patience more. The baby stage was much easier.

      Sirach is one of the seven Old Testament books rejected by Martin Luther and Protestants was the book of Ecclesiasticus, alternatively known by its “Old Latin” title Sirach. The other books rejected by Protestantism are Judith, Tobit, Wisdom, Baruch, and 1 & 2 Maccabees.
      Ecclesiasticus/Sirach is found among the Dead Sea Scrolls (three copies to be exact). It is also included in the Greek Septuagint, the Old Latin manuscripts, and the Latin Vulgate. The Catholic Church and Churches of the East receive the book as inspired, inerrant, and canonical. Sirach is also included in our oldest biblical manuscripts: Codex Vaticanus (ca. A.D. 350), Codex Sinaiticus (A.D. 360), and Codex Alexandrinus (ca. A.D. 400).
      In other words, the early Church found it to be a part of the Bible, but during the reformation, it was removed and placed into a separate category if you will. As a Catholic, I believe Sirach is inspired by the Spirit, however, majority of those who don't still consider the seven books good insight or history based. Hopefully that wasn't too confusing. Sorry it was long! 🙈

They will go out into the world, with nothing of value for themselves. Also the don't see God in your life of significance to this world fo a better place to live for your children and other people. Significance in building a meaniful life that your chidlren can learn of value would be . Using God's given intelligence, solve problems , reasoning being creative, making a difference in this world. Staying at home is dead and there are many places that need God to change and help people in desperate need, Jesud said ''go out into the world spread the Gospel." Staying at home does is serving people in this way a command. Also another of value for your children to learn is being an explorer, siencist ,Inventor, an actor , advocate for animals, abuse children , a business person , obtaning a bachelor degree to do social research into social justice and reach your full potential .
