- In this video, I do some ink sketches of my cat as a sketching exercise to loosen up & let go of fear and making mistakes. You can do this same exercise with any subject or object you wish, doesn't have to be a pet. The important thing is to do it from life and with ink and no pencil sketch. It's fun and doesn't require much time or materials. Have fun and enjoy :)

I love this one! Just love it when they stretch and fold their paws over each other! She's a beauty. The love shows up in the drawings.
Love your cat. A man loves cat is good ,gentle bro.
Nicely done. Good practice, too. It forces you to focus on the most important lines without fussing over unnecessary details. Hi, Kitty!
A cat lover is always a cat lover 😂 beautiful skecth.
Definitely haha, thank you
Desenho lindo, Parabéns!!!👏👏🎉🎉
This is so cute
Charming! This one has my sketchbook out with pen in hand before I even knew it!! Thank you for a great lesson!!
Glad it was helpful!
Did you see her move at 3:50? :) You can do this exercise with any subject or object, not only a cat :) Have fun and let me know how it goes!

Love your videos
Thank you :)
Kitty 🩷 Always a willing subject for you to practice your art. 😊
Yes haha :) But always moving.
Both sketches look good. I vaguely recall doing these type of sketches a while back. To try and describe my process when I do these type of sketching, I will say I look for shapes and try to be loose with the contour lines. I normally like to do preliminary construction with a light pencil and then narrow down the details from there before moving on to whatever medium I want to utilize. So it goes something like big and simple to more complex, etc. So when it comes to these types of sketches, it's similar, find the shapes and then go from there but except with these I put less emphasis and effort on the more complex details due to time constraints. and so on. The rest is a level of fluid contour gestures if they are there and the like. Not sure if this actually makes sense since it is easier to show it than to explain it.
I am yet to draw my cat, mainly because I assumed that drawing fur would be too difficult. Your sketchy approach solves that issue.
For sure :) You can also do this with any subject or object. Doesn't have to be a cat. Draw anything
Since 31st of August 23 I do this excercise every day. It is so much fun and I already learned so much. And despite my hate for these brush pens I still do stick to it. My cat has the same colours as yours. So adorbs. Thank you so much for showing me the easy way of painting. Oh, my English is a bit strange as I it isn't my mother tongue. I'm from Switzerland. PS. I draw my cat way too fat this morning. Oh my..... I had to do another one for correction ;-)
That's really awesome :) And no worries your English is fine. That's funny to hear about this morning, it happens haha.

Sir please teach about canine skeleton sketch pls sir
I will think about it :)
Do you always draw live subjects or do you draw from photos also? Would you do the sketch the same if you used a photo? I have a lot of old black and white photos of the family and I have thought they would make a great subject to draw so I am interested if a photo would change your approach. Thank you for your video.
Yes I sketch from photos all the time. I sketch and paint from life and photos. Nothing wrong with either one. Give them a try and have fun :)
feels like she knows that you are filming her that is why she changes pose.😄
She knows when I am just sketching her haha, she always moves then - evening without filming haha
