I think most collectors wish MMC would announce a 2 pack b/c BOTH of these were very limited con exclusives. No way the con sold enough to fund the mold, etc. So what's the deal MMC, what's...the...deal???
I'm betting when the standard versions of Rewind and Eject are released by MMC they'll be sold as a set of two where these show exclusive versions were sold separately. Just waiting on the standard versions to hit the market as I'm ready to buy the pair ASAP. Sorry you broke your Overdrive. Buying him anyways. I want that character regardless of any build quality issues. At least I know to be careful with him and take my time getting him into bot mode.
I dunno, there's just stuff off with this mold that the FRumble one does better, the legs especially look bad, worse than rewind as the blue shows the gaps more. Maybe it's better in hand (sorry, couldn't resist) but we'd need a retail release for that. Come the F on MMC.
Damn, I suffered my 4th ever breakage just 2 days ago. Freaking sucked as it was a $100 figure. Sadly, it wasn't even my fault as I was transforming her correctly and the screw just snapped off the thin plastic that was holding it in place. Lucky for me, it still parts form as I can just put her leg back on in robot mode or transform her leg and just slide it back in in alt mode. Oh, I thought about Bobby and his Fioravanti review as I had just watched that a day or so before.
After looking at the gorgeous blue paint on the fanstoys, this guy looks very plain. Blue color is just too dark. Still...looking forward to getting him.
