Thank you very much for the tutorial! How do you remove the cube's black shadows like in the poster you show at 0:41? Those are really transparent cubes compared to the final results ones... thank you!
I was following your tutorial and I got stock at minute 2:06 as I did not find the button for the live viewer of Octane. I did a research and I realized is a plug-in. Can we continue without the plug in? it’s €19.99 yearly billed.
Hey man, so sorry! I’ve never worked in Redshift before but I think the settings should be pretty easy once you learn how to do glass or ice in Redshift
I have over 70 ish tutorials on my channel at the moment, and if you went through all of them I suggest checking out Doron Studio, Jesse Nyberg, Texturelabs and Louis Moss!
@@Dreadlabs Trying to get more into blender as we speak but it kinda sucks since I can navigate c4d just fine after years of trying and now feel like starting from scratch haha.. thanks for the comment tho, I appreciate it

Hi, yes. If you watch the full video you'll find that I re-do the poster without plugins at the end!
@@Dreadlabsdid you find how to do the rest without Octane?

I'm from Ukraine and I'm studying design. You are my idol! You have a very cool style. Do you have a video where you make this poster? Thanks
Hey! Not for this one in perticular, but I do have some other kinda similar poster livestreams and videos on my channel!
octane is free?
€20 a month, but it has a free trial
Do you use Blender for the 3D part? And what do u think about using Blender and cinema4D?
I use Cinema 4D! It was easier for me to learn personally. Blender is free of course but as a Student you can get a very cheap C4D license as well
do you use blender too by any chance?
Sadly not :(
@@Dreadlabs aw :( cinema 4d kinda likes another level for me tho :/ great work btw mate
what is your computer set up? I don't think mine is strong enough to attempt this haha
I have a video about my setup here:

Octane is mad expensive but without octane or redshift all these renders look absolutely horrible. Why isn't the c4d rendering as capable?
A free alternative would be Blender with the Cycles render, but you can also try Redshift, it comes with some C4D subscriptions
