11/11/2021: Does the Schecter SVS Exotic have "stainless steel" frets? I love everything about this guitar, especially the Floyd Rose. Once I learned how to set the FR up, it is so easy to use.
Hi, thanks for the awesome demo... and sorry if i missed it, however what is the finish on the back of the neck? Satin, Oiled or something totally different, thanks again.
If there was a strat with these same specs minus Floyd I would buy. Strats especially the 60s have rounder curves just feel more comfortable. As for Floyd, Schaller sells a two point drop in replacement, but of course that means added cost.
@@bluwng they actually make a hard tail version of this guitar in both finishes. it has a hipshot bridge, looks like the same one ibanez has been using on their recent line of hardtail RGs
Well if you can get your hands on anything from the heydays -1981-1989, Aria pro 2,Jackson,ESP, you'd change opinion. Love Schecter but its nowadays stuff that we have no much option to go for. i never found a guitar that matched the 80s standards, action, finish, everything. You were there?then you know if not, then ask those who were.
Not Even Charvel can compete right now because for thirteen hundred US dollars you wont get a guitar with exotic woods, stainless steel frets, locking tuners, and a USA made Floyd Rose that is better than a FR 1000! The pickups are pretty good but you can always replace one or both if you want to. Whats with the hate on the Floyd? If you want a hard tail version of this, they have it too! I think this is a very versatile guitar you can get various tones out of it straight from factory. wish it came with gold hardware (the stained one) But other than that its the guitar with the most value for your dollar really. Schecter is upping their game and becoming the new APPLE i phone of guitars :)
Great stuff from whats available nowadays. But you understand that anything more expensive than 600-700$ you pay for the brand. You understand than a guitar cost between 200-400$ to build right?

@@shasan8272 It’s perfect. Tapping is a breeze with the compound radius.

The wenge neck makes this guitar super heavy. I checked the weight on a famous guitar webshop and all the available options are around 9 lbs!

I really wish it didn't have a floyd. A wilkinson trem or a hardtail would have been so much better.
Yea I think so too.
Use to be huge in Floyd but lately been more into regular floating trem or hard tail.

Exactly, my plan is to swap with a non-fine tuner Floyd with locking tuning keys and will replace the locking nut with a graphite nut....

They now have the hard tail version. I just ordered one from sweet water
OH MY GAK !
I've been after a Strat type guitar. This falls in a good price bracket.
1200$ U.S. I think?
the distortion he used and the metal stuff he did not his branch tho, but he seems great at Jazz.
Schecter, please offer us the dark one as a 7-string! With Floyd for sure. :D
Agree a million percent !
Schecter is crushing the other brands.

Nope, the SVSS series is 80s spec-ed, so bolt-on is mandatory.
Why on earth did you have to put a Floyd Rose Trem !!!
