I needed a nice guitar recently and went shopping with a budget of 2 grand. I played lots of really nice guitars over the course of a week - some of them way over my budget - but I kept coming back to this one so I bought it. It literally outpaces some guitars twice its price. Schecter is knocking it out of the park these days and I'll probably return to them for my next guitar.

I would normally not have any interest in a guitar that is described as a 'Super Shredder', but this one sounds sweet. Your awesome demo showed how this guitar could handle a more 'Bluesy' genre and not sound out of place. Yes, they would do well to add a trem as a stock feature. If one didn't want to use it .. fine, but it still would be available to those who did. Nice guitar at a very reasonable price! Thanks for the the great demo, Jon! You bring out the best in all guitars.
I love his riffing licking here. His vibrato can not be overlooked. way too many professionals out there who still have not worked on their vibrato enough. That's what separates the men from the boys L&G. Yet again another fair, honest and eloquent review.
Black limba is Korina as Gibson called it so same wood as the original V and Explorer models were made with. On the UK there is a version when a Floyd style trem on sale Fabulous guitar
It now comes in both HT & FR. 😊 It looks and sounds amazing. Thx for all your work I really appreciate it I live in a small country and as a Left handed player there is almost nothing in my local shops, so i have to order online. So I rely on RUclips videos for the look and ofc the sound!
Another enjoyable video. I am so torn on which Schecter to buy. As a hard rock guitarist, I’m gravitating toward a few models… and it’s for body shapes, pickups, intended applications, etc. I love these sun valley exotics! I also am super curious about the apocalypse series… I’ll have to keep checking in on your reviews until I finally pull the trigger on one of them. Cheers.
The Hellraiser Hybrid C-1 is also an awesome guitar. I understand everyone can't afford it but, I have the Hellraiser, the Red Reign Apocalypse and the Super Shredder Ziricote. All hard tail. All are frickin awesome. You are going to be happy no matter which. Get their hard case too, it's also well worth the money and lockable. I have fallen in love with my Schecters. Not one bad thing to say.

You remind me of Tim Pierce, Jon. A great veteran pro who plays amazing but musical, slick stuff, and always plays with a smile loving the music, never posing or showing off. So enjoyable to watch and hear. But thankfully you do more reviews than Tim! This guitar is really tempting - such great spec for the price. May I ask about the weight? Not familiar with this wood, so wondering if it's heavy or light. Thanks!
Wow usually I'm not a schecter fan but this just made my credit card shiver. Wanted the Nick Johnston signature. Besides obviously that having single coils this looks pretty similar

Man that really was some awesome playing at the beginning there! I watch a few guitar RUclipss and there is almost always some great playing, so much so that I hardly even notice anymore cos I've been almost saturated with brilliant playing, but your jam just there actually stood out over a lot of the playing I've heard lately, bravo! As for the guitar, it looks fantastic, pretty much right up my alley, I like the shecters and I love super strat type guitars, but most shecter ones seem to cone with floyd rose locking trems, which I have little use for and can't be bothered with. I like it simple. So this one looks almost ideal. Only thing I'd rather would to be to have an hss pickup configuration as I like a single coil in the neck and the middle one so as to get the in-between positions. But that said I would still be very happy with the dual humbuckers as they sounded great on the vid. Cheers!
I play mostly Grateful Dead and psychedelic country. I was looking for something with P90s but put a bid on a used one on EBay. I didn’t expect to win it as my bud was about 630… Lo and behold it was at my house a week later. By far the best guitar I’ve ever owned. Smokes my 50th Anniversary US Strat Plus. I do mis thé wammy but wouldn’t want a Floyd Rose. It is Les Paul heavy, in case u are wondering. Beautiful guitar. Sounds great, plays better than guitars 2-3 times the price. Just buy it.

Jon I hope you see this! How is the neck on this guitar? I would love one of these I can't play on shredder necks they cramp my hand, is it really slim?
There is a video on RUclips that tests, floating trem, resting on body trem and blocked and the trem really did kill sustain but I think it also depends on the body or build of the guitar.
Another highly desirable guitar, but for me it would have to be the Floyd version. When will the guitar makers start offering models with a vega trem? Floyds are a nighmare to just change the strings, setting them up leaves you in tears. Thanks for another "must wait until i win the lottery" Schecter Jonathan.
