So basically there are four main judging elements, HD (horizontal displacement), DD (Dificulty), execution, and flight time // Horizontal displacement is based on where the box and the cross are on the trampoline. Every gymnast starts with a score of 10 and if the gymnasts leaves the cross and lands outside of the box then they get deducted wether it’s 0.1 0.2 or 0.3 based on where they land so they get judged on where they land for each skill // Dificulty is based on how hard the routine is. So each skill is worth a certain amount of points such as triff (a triple flip) is worth 1.7 and a simple back flip is worth 0.5 therefore the harder your routine is the more points you earn // Execution is basically how perfect does the gymnast complete each skill, such as pointed toes kick outs at the top of the skill and holding lines. execution is judged out of 10 by 3 judges and every time the athlete makes a mistake is a deduction // time of flight is how long the gymnast is in the air so if someone jumps 19 seconds then they get 19 seconds added to there score, if they jump 15 seconds then they get 15 seconds added to their score so the higher u jump the better your score will be // The reason Execution and HD are judged out of 10 is bc in each routine there are 10 skills - Overall they put all these values together to come up with a final score
