Gary Sanchez has been on a really good hitting run as of late. But with William Contreras hot bat hitting over .300 it's tough to find time for him. Plus William Contreras has been a flat out rifle behind the plate! Actually the entire Brewers team has been playing incredible defense. From Blake Perkins robbing Home Runs, to Joey Ortiz glove work at Shortstop and 3rd Base. J.Chourio has also been phenomenal in right field. Diving catches, throwing guys out at 2nd and 3rd base. This team has improved so much.
If Rhys Hoskins comes back and can get hot, and if Sanchez stays hot(lately he's been hitting really well), plus add Christian Yelich's power, speed, and average, and Wily Adames' power. Wow. Now that said, if J.Chourio, S.Frelick, Brice Turang, can each have some really hot streaks, this team's offense could literally explode!💥💥BOOM!💥💥 We do however need a little help in the Bullpen. Injuries have been brutal. So far Rhys Hoskins, Devon Williams, Brandon Woodruff (which we knew about), and various other starting pitchers have been injured at one time or another. Yet these guys have still kept winning!
Gotta give Ian Happ credit. His throw to the plate @ the 4:30 mark almost got Adames. Looking back at both team's statistics I found some interesting similarities. The Cubs this year. Low batting averages by the offense. While the Pitching staff has been pretty strong. Low ERAs by their Starting pitchers. Now looking at last year's Brewers team and the year before that, their batting averages were also extremely low. Many players were around the .200 to .240 marks. Meanwhile their pitching staff was on of the best in the league. Low ERAs, more Strikeouts than Innings pitched. In both cases Craig Counsell was the manager of those teams. Really good pitching but low batting averages. Is anyone still sad that he left????? I'll bet NOPE! GO BREWERS GO!!

I was extremely critical of this team's front office moves. The trades for Hader during a playoff run was ????!!!! Then they traded Corbin Burnes? A Cy-Young winning pitcher. I was not happy and I expressed it. However when I am wrong I will accept that as well and apologize. I made a HUGE MISTAKE! First off I didn't know Josh Hader during the time they traded him was acting like a Diva. Apparently Corbin Burnes was as well. I had thought that they should have gotten a lot more for those two players. In the end though, Joey Ortiz has looked really really good. His glove is amazing and his arm, a cannon! He has speed and his bat is really picking up power and average. Robert Gasser? Well so far he's been close to perfect. A ERA under 2.00, and the Brewers have been winning everytime he starts. If DL Hall can come back healthy and get on track, this trade will have not been the bomb I said it was.
I just don't get why the Brewers continuously bring in left-handers to face right-handers and vice versa do they not understand the percentage is glad they won
The Brewers should have a 4 game winning streak by Sunday. The South Side Singles Club (AKA the Plight Sox) are no threat to anyone. FLY THE L!! It's always great to see the sCrUBbies lose.

let's go brewers! These guys are exciting!
That was a HELLUVA game. Sanchez's homerun - sure, great play, but Frelick 1st to home was the highlight.
Absolutely. That was a beautiful play 🔥
No way scary Gary hit that ball that was so far outside it was almost to Kenosha
The videography of the Frelick slide was excellent!!
FLY The L !
Good series win Brewers!
Hope you enjoyed your stay Council.
Now go back with your tail between your legs. So glad that guy is on someone else's team.
This squad is legit!
They could still be better but this is a good season so far.
If Craig Counsell wanted more money, he should have gone to the Mets. For him to go to the Cubs is like a Green Bay Packer going to Minnesota Vikings.
More like... the Bears?
@HiThereBurt-xx7du I think he means Favre.
I love this team. They have the Majic juice. Ride or die!
There is a lot to love.
Fantastic win
Yep, great contest, pity the Cubs pitching cost em too much.
Damn....we ain't got no good hitters neither?!?
Gary for mvp
😱 Gary
Scary!
Yo easy there brother, we only a third way out!
9:37 Na na na na na na na na hey hey hey goodbye!
Best Cinematography - Cubs fannies leaving after the HR!!! GO Crew!!!
Great series win good to see the offense continuing to do its thing bullpen needs to be better

lol cubs have a losing record! Fly the L!
If Gary gets hot it’s gonna be dangerous

Sanchez YES. Can we also talk about how good Joey Ortiz has been... on both sides of the ball, what a player.
Choke cubs choke
I loved the shot of the fickle cub fans leaving in the 8th.
Let’s go Craig
Gary is scary! Go Crew!!!!

Rhys hoskins isnt a pitcher
Thanks for the easy series, Greg.
Love it.
Gary Sanchez is having a Jesse winker type year
Winker was unbelievably horrible glad to have Gary over him
Don't disrespect Gary like that.
The only they had in common was clutch, nothing else was alike.
Cya later Cubs, ya bums.

Craig Who???😂
Why is gary different on the brew crew?🤣🤣
Let the L flag fly high in Chicago!
good game against the scrubs
I just don't get why the Brewers continuously bring in left-handers to face right-handers and vice versa do they not understand the percentage is glad they won
Our bullpen is gutted with injury right now, and that has a lot to do with it currently. It's just availability.
Cause Hudson was really really good against RHH before today...
Funny seeing cubs fans walking out with sad faces😅
The Brewers should have a 4 game winning streak by Sunday. The South Side Singles Club (AKA the Plight Sox) are no threat to anyone. FLY THE L!! It's always great to see the sCrUBbies lose.
