Brewers are the best hitters in the MLB right now. crazy times
probably the only time in my lifetime lol this is wild times to be alive
I was around for Bambi's Bombers, Harvey's Wallbangers, the days of Prince Fielder, Ryan Braun, Johnathan Lucroy, Rickie Weeks, etc. The last couple years have been extremely weak in the batting average department. Guys hitting .205, .223, .240, .230, etc. Our pitching was the best with Corbin Burnes, Woodruff, Peralta, etc, but our bats were not always hitting well. Now? Wow what a change. Averages over .320. However not always the best with runners in scoring position. But if look at the improvement on defense? Blake Perkins? Robbing Hone Runs! Joey Ortiz has been phenomenal at 3rd & SS! What a difference between last year and now.

It’s great to see Willy starting to hit again. I know he had a pretty disappointing year last year, so it’s good to see him getting back on-track.

In tonight’s game and in one game in our most recent series against the Cubs, Willy Adames comes through exactly when we need him to.
That was a nail biter. It seems the Sox sent a completely different team from the one we saw on the first night. For a team with the worst record in MLB, they put up a good fight. Crochet made this a close game. Between Action Jackson Churio and Willie Adamas, the good guys won.
Crew now 6.5 games up and building some steam. June looks like it's going to be a good month.
Down 3 to 1 again and still I knew they would not loose!

Okay this team has blown me away. First off their hitting has exploded. Still some issues with the bases loaded, or Runners In Scoring Position, but 2 guys over .320? How long has that been? Secondly the DEFENSE!! Blake Perkins has been insanely good in Center Field! J.Chourio has been great as well. Joey Ortiz has done a phenomenal job also. This team has shown some serious improvement. I was not thrilled when we traded Corbin Burnes. And dumping Josh Hader during a playoff run was also not liked by me either. HOWEVER, I was very critical of this team's front office moves, but now, looking at what we received from those trades, I will admit I was WRONG! Again Joey Ortiz.....amazing! Robert Gasser...... has been great so far. This team has a chemistry that they've not had in a while it seems. These young guys have really amped up this club's performance. 3rd in Stolen Bases, and they haven't been chasing bad pitches nearly as much as previous years. There are so many positives that have come about since last season. What's odd is with Craig Counsell as manager out Batting average was low, really LOW! Pitching was great however. Now Craig's in Chicago and the Cubs batting averages are LOW, but their team ERA is really good. Now at first I wasn't too thrilled with Craig Counsell leaving, but again, now? Craig who? Oh....Craig Counsell-out...lol. Sorry. This team has really shown me how little I know about being a General Manager. They have been extremely exciting to watch!

Plus they've held their own against some of the Highest Payroll teams, or the teams with the best records, best players? However ESPN has called it? These young players have been playing with some intensity that is not only exciting to watch, but the plays they've been making have been absolutely incredible. Look at the diving catch J.Chourio made. Look at some of the Home Run robbing catches Blake Perkins has had. Plus ➕William Contreras has been nailing baserunners.➕Joey Ortiz has done a phenomenal job fielding➕and Brice Turang has been very good as well! Great hitting, amazing defense, good pitching, and great chemistry has helped make this team a serious contender. If there is one thing we need, it's getting our closer back. The bullpen has been good don't get me wrong, but a great shut down closer is essential for a top team to succeed. One other thing is injuries, which we can't control. We've had some top guys over the first few months get hurt. Christian Yelich's injury was tough, then Rhys Hoskins gets hurt, but the pitching staff has been battered by injuries. We knew that Woodruff would be out, but we've had starter after starter get hurt. Yet they really haven't missed a beat. When your team can overcome that kind of adversity? Let's hope that everyone gets healthy, stays healthy, and we can make a strong run at the post-season.

Can I ask fans what they think about this new Extra Innings "rule"? Where a runner is automatically placed at 2nd base? I personally don't like this new rule. Okay it might or it does speed up the process of Extra Innings, but it takes away a lot of the game. Earning a win for example. Yes you still need to drive in that runner at 2nd base, but he's automatically placed there. To me it's just not as intense as what the game was. Just curious about other fan's thoughts and opinions?
