@Tuning by Nick this is awesome. I'm curious if you have any thoughts for an engine management solution I could do myself at home with a supercharger on a K20A2? I live in a rural area and wonder if I could add the supercharger and get some stock tunes in Hondata or something that would get me over 300HP for a track focus FG2?
any chance we can see ignition and vtc maps for this setup? im just starting to base map an almost identical setup other than e85 and a ported head and this would get me a good starting point to begin my fuel tuning! love your videos and all the 8th gen love! wish you were closer and in the states!

Hey Nick, I'd emailed you a few months back regarding etunes from you and you recommended for me to get a dyno tune. I'm located in California. I did take your advice but comparing my dyno graphs to yours, i don't know, my tuner is still a pretty young guy and just recently opened his shop in my town. He seems to have made my car run fairly smooth, but I notice that my WOT response has a slight delay before the power is delivered (which is noticeable between shifting normally and high revving). Is this normal? He tuned for "drivability" by driving through each gear 1-4 as well while on the dyno which I thought was really good. But idk, I just feel like most professional/experienced tuners such as yourself and others on youtube seem to have extremely smooth and great looking graphs whereas mine were not so much.
Same color as mine but mines a 2011 just different wheels I boosted mine with all cheap home made stuff but I can only tune by road driving no dyno I need to get you to put me a tune together!
Nice glad to see these numbers on this setup, this was the minimum numbers i was wanting to see on my build. I’ll be running the 2.2 cams with 12.5-12.9CR depending on HG and on e85. Should I expect to see 275+ on that setup? And I have a full 3” exhaust and ITB’s as well
I don't understand how revving to 8500rpm on a stock block is okay. I mean I love that he's doing it, but everything I've read show that most tuners are setting fuel cut at 7600-8000rpm. I drive a kfrank and tuner would absolutely not allow me to rev higher.
hey nick so i have a 9th gen si with a k20z3 head k24z7 block. thinkin about going 3.2 or 2.2 dc cams. which would work best for my set up? and are either of them daily capable. the car is my daily. thanks ! :)

Damn great job tuning, the numbers and power curve are great for that all motor setup. Its going to be really fun to drive on the street!
I know this is 2 years old but then he ever come back with a full 3 inch exhaust
that perfect torque curve is a testament to dragcartel making one hell of a good cam and some good tuning to go along with it!
Great power! Love 8th gens
thats 300hp to the crank, nice job
Those are really nice numbers and rev to 8500! Wow I want that 😊

Similar setup (same cam) on an RSX but 12:5.1 and rods. Made 262/202 on a Dyno Jet with 91 octane.

Is there a significant difference in heads between the k24a2 and k20z3 in terms of cfm and power?
I would like to know this as well. Curious to know if a stock K20 head will net much gains without all of the modifications that the owner did.
@@vando1267 from I've researched the k20 head flows and breaths better the the k24 head

About 30cfm difference

What would the power look like with a regular rbc and 3in exhaust and stock k20z3 block?
I’ve seen that the RBC has perform way better than the skunk2 they have on the car
I know I’m very late but I’m pushing 220hp and 162ft lbs
Mind you that 162ft lbs is way way up there. My max torque is at 7k rpm 😂
what do you think it could make with 3.2 cams?
Would definitely push a few more if it didnt have tiny exhaust piping and a restrictive chambered muffler
What is the max VTC for the DC 2.2 cams? Do you recommend a gear limiter or software limiter?
40 degrees. Use mechanical. Can't trust the oil pressure to manage VTC via software
@@cdub7258 Thanks. I ordered the 40 degree VTC gear yesterday after talking to Drag Cartel. I agree. Wouldn't trust the oil pressure also.
how much would you expect power to drop with the drop in cams instead of the 2.2?
No more than 15whp 10 torq. I got the 2.2 dc cams when i was k2pz3 fbo. Almost wasnt worth but its definetly noticable

Is it safe to rev it to 8500? That’s really high for a k24
no it's not. not without forged pistons at least. less friction
it has the rsx type s oil pump
