I swear, the passion that went into animating guns in MW2019 is downright palpable. The soundwork is really good too, not perfect, but not far off either.
Agree with you 100%. I think they realized that CoD was slowly withering away so they made the risky move of coming back to modern times from the space age stuff and resurrecting the MW series and it worked like a charm. MW2019 seriously changed the industry standard on the function and animation of firearms in games and I'm so glad that it did because it's helped bring realistic FPS games into the light.
The weapons were animated by hyper, a known YT animator that did wacky but cool weapon animations before 2019. Everyone was wondering where tf he was until he came back and showcased some of the weapons he animated. He apparently got hired by Activision.

@@cougarpegasus The price on the dolch is egregious, it turns it from a high tier pistol to a meme weapon like the avtomat simply because of the price. There's no way to justify spending the money on it when the lebel is half as expensive and better in long, and most pistols in the game are better in short range
Man Hunt: Showdown do have some great reloads though A shame you can’t really enjoy them because odds are, if you’re reloading, you’re probably in the middle of a fight where a single bullet can end your life lol
I love red dead but the way Arthur reloads his guns at the speed of light just always mad me laugh a little considering it takes him forever to do anything else

Men I remember when BF1 came out and thought I would be able to play with it sadly it didn't make it through and BFV is dead to me and to a lot of BF fans too, you know why... But Hunt Showdown just added last month, such a beautiful rifle!
When I was a kid, dropping magazines never really bothered me... But when I grew up and started having to pay for them, it always made me pause to look up the price of magazines for a particular gun I was reloading.

This is how I feel about using the Vaznev in MWII. Apparently the reload add time is quick, but in-game for me it feels so damn slow that I have to use fast hands.
I honestly enjoy waaaaaaay too much the antique weapon reloads like the musket for example, it's so simple, yet for some reason, it's pretty fucking nutty
the modern warfare and Battlefield animations are satisfying and the Vanguard one are as well, minus a few, one example is the Thompson hybrid of a M1928 and the Thompson M1, i think they read somewhere that the bolt will lock back after the last round (which for an open bolt smg is awesome) but didn't look further into it as that feature only works on stick mags not drums, but as its a freak Hybid of the 2 thompson i can ignore it slightly, the M1 Garand on the other hand, i can not forgive them for what they have done.

That is the Panzerbüchse 39 anti tank rifle. Loved the extra detail of only being able to hold 2 at a time when reloading the side magazine instead of Call of Duty's seven 12 gauge shells hidden in your magic palm.

Indeed! Although I’m sure the Alofs device is a bit awkward and clunky in real life, in game it takes the balancing of the single barreled shotgun and basically makes it a repeating shotgun. Definitely one of my go to shotguns in game 👍
The gun shown here is a nitro express rifle. There are very limited pictures but it can be assumed that the very first ones put out(assuming our rifle is chambered in .450 nitro) did have external hammers. But a vast majority of the pictures you see show models with internal hammers. So could it be right? Maybe, but this is most likely an error on rockstar :(
