Iharu reminds me of Kirishima from MHA. Kafka vs Kaiju No. 9 was cool. The choreography is wild.
13:55 The way that other humanoid kaijuu was thinking to itself made me think it was like an AI. It has a basic intelligence and set of actions it would take in certain situations, but had to process new information and try to adapt to it (especially as it was getting kaijuhandled by Kafka). It’s actively learning and seems it can become even more dangerous over time.

Sorry such a long COMMENT and rambling on about nonsense i just love it when kafka speaks with the distortion and reverb on anger in kaiju mode sounds sooooo fucking sick even tho the "manga had me hype" hearing the voice im like OMFG this is x5 times more hype and the "ANIMATION" OMFG ESPECIALLY THAT LAST BIT THE FLUIDITY WITH VICE CAPTAIN HOSHINA SLASHING AT KAFKA OOOF SO COOL GREAT JOB TO THE ANIMATORS

The difference between reading and watching something is huge tbh some people say you need to have imagination and animate those fights while you read your own and somehow think of voices that say those stuff basically "colorful imagination" but not everyone works like that and not everyone can achieve that so reading you can go slow or fast doesn't matter with reading mostly you try to get to the good parts faster than in the anime because theres no actual "sound, music, voice acting, sometimes the characters are colorless and you can't really tell their expression or emotion correctly all the time" but in the anime everything mixes and hypes the situation more the music kicking in the voice distortion the anger in their voices the crying the "sound" of crying intensifies the situation even more the screams "in manga you sometime skip over the floaty text that shows those things" at least i do when they write like "shank, clank, zoom, boom, fshooo like wind sounds and sonic booms hearing it is more hype than reading that even tho i can imagine and picture it and hear it in my head it still a different experience from reading than watching
The entire episode was filled with foreshadowing, from bullets to aura

Also this explanation of Nico to Sari i won't spoil but i think he meant "How far can you go?" In a sense that shes at 55% output now sooo you know and they hyped up Reno too as well as the guy with him so i think they'll become quite steonger in their output they already said Kikoru is already at the level of "Platoon Leader" meaning shes 50/60% of the way to "Captain level threat if she continues to grow in output % 😂😂😂😅❤❤❤ Love your guys reaction im genuinely surprised howuch you laughed and how much your laugh was contagious i couldn't stop laughing myself... Also this kaiju no 9 kinda reminds me alot of mahito in a sense that its linda childish and "just now" starting to learn and understand humans they both "learn very fast about humans and their interactions" but the difference is that mahito was created from human anger and this kaiju seems to be a lind of parasite that consumes knowledge based on the people/lifeforms it consumes "taking over their brain and memories i think"
I thin that "foreshadowing" Nico meant about Kikoru future weapon ("using style" conection betwen what she used in this scene and what she gonna use later)
