love your ideas honestly..... i just started getting more confident wearing shorts on the dressy style side so I am going with your suggestions.... and you've got some good ones cause i don't know how to match clothes the way you do lol..... i just bought a pair of boat shoes and those are my favorites.... you're awesome
Parker, Thanks for the info. I'm a 58 yearold grandfather who cares about style. Many of your styles look good on some older guys too. Personally I like my shorts an inch or 2 longer. I agree white sneakers with no show socks look good with nearly ever short outfit. Thank's again.

That’s interesting with the crew socks. I think it looks good on taller guys like you, or guys with longer leg to torso ratio. But it’s also a kind of hipstery look. The no-show socks seems a bit more preppy looking, but it works best for shorter guys who want to show more length on the leg to make them come off taller.

Parker. With loafers you ought to try those pantyhose socks that women wear with Flats . They're impossible to see when wearing loafers . Just make sure you get the ones with the rubber pads on the heel.

Dude, I like your outfits and way you combine them. But I feel the shorts should be a wee bit longer, as your legs are long and the short shorts makes them look skinnier than they actually are.

You can't go wrong with converse high top with socks.
For me i like my ankles covered. Plain white monochrome converse. Banging.

I don’t wear them if I’ll be walking a ton and sweating. Also you can throw dryer sheets in them after wearing to eliminate odor.

Aside from not looking good a no show sock will let high tops rub the back of your ankle and foot resulting in a blister if you walk around like that for any amount of time…
