As we await the official release on the 30th, I'll be providing an updated video with the latest information. Stay tuned for more accurate details post-launch!
Cargo Comparison to Rivian R1S is interesting and the R1S actually beats the CT is a few key areas. The CT does statistically win the total lockable storage including frunk but not the 1st or 2nd row seats (in cubic ft): CT: 100 R1S: 58 BUT, if you need to carry something bulky and want it in inside and climate controlled: Folding the R1S seats flat creates 104 cf of continuous, enclosed, climate controlled cargo storage behind the front seats. This space is about 31” tall at the tailgate opening and is 7’ long and more cubic feet. So the R1S is longer, more voluminous, and may be taller at the rear than the CT. I rescue dogs (typically medium to large ones) and transport them long distances to their new homes. Often they need to be crated and the R1S may be a better vehicle for this and similar uses. Also I want to sleep in my vehicle in freezing and hot weather so being able to have 6.5’ to lay flat and sleep in the climate controlled cabin space is a priority for me and the R1S seems to beat the CT here too. A logical question would be why didn’t I include the R1T in any of this comparison, aren’t you comparing apples to oranges? Because of my last requirement, in the R1T there’s no climate controlled for area for sleeping and it’s got a stunted bed so no comparable, continuous lockable, climate controlled storage space for big items like dog crates.
The R1S is a great truck and it’s good looking as well. While It does have some advantages, for me personally I’d rather have the better charging network which is superior in many ways especially if you regularly take long road trips. But we’ll see all of the details of the CT this Thursday, I’m sure they’ll be dozens of videos comparing the two in depth
@@MikeSeuss Rivian announced that Rivian vehicles will have access to the Tesla Supercharger network this spring. Rivian plans to provide NACS (aka Tesla) to CCS1 adapters to all existing owners and eventually produce all new vehicles with the NACS instead of CCS1. So both Rivian and Tesla will have access to the full SC network plus Rivian will have access to the Rivian Adventure Network and essentially all publicly available CCS networks. So it appears that Rivian owners will soon have access to as many if not more fast chargers than Tesla, as I’m not sure when the RAN network will open up to Tesla.
The cost to insure the Model 3 and Y are exorbitant. This ridiculous vehicle will probably be two to three times as much. Enjoy throwing your money away on this prepubescent wet dream.
Hmm, that’s weird I have a model 3 performance and State Farm full coverage with all the perks and my rate is lower than any gas car I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned several

Recently, A bunch of CTs were shipped out of the Tx factory.
Perhaps they were all going to Tesla stores?

I apologize, I had to revise the video to provide additional and more accurate up to date information. Enjoy!
@@MikeSeuss sorry, I'm just moaning. Was really excited
"45mm shotgun" not a thing. The Tommy Gun fires .45 caliber rounds.
Thanks
Imagine a 3” caliber shotgun. Someone is showing their gun ignorance. How embarrassing.
@xploration1437 lol yeah im sooooo embarrassed. Get a life
1,400lbs of towing capacity? Maybe 14,000lbs.
Yes I’m sorry, was talking so fast and said it wrong

LOL. 45mm shotgun? It's OK, I can tell you're not a gun guy. Nice footage though, so I'm thankful!
Thanks
The ramp is no longer there dude lol. You need to get updated on the latest intel.
Thanks for updating me
This isn't confirmed dude 😂
I still say it doesn't exist only as a prototype.
Lol
