- The new Lishi LW4 pick and decoder is out and on the market in Australia... So let's see how it works and how it can be used to make a key. Should we all go out and buy one? Well... Yes, why not. You can make a key without the need to remove the lock, you can use the lock pick on hard to pick locks like the new Lockwood locks with mushroom lock pins that reduce lock picking. This tool is also a must for an apprentice locksmith who want to get a feel for the single lock picking and decoding.
If you have a tool that you would our locksmiths to review, feel free to send them.. see link www.drlock.com.au
That's a very nice tool to have. Thanks for the vid.
Brilliant! Need these in my picking kit.
Good video. Individual picking, is my favorite style personally. With the lishi it is fantastic. Very easy to find the pins under pressure, a lot quicker and with practice it is the easiest way in my opinion.
I was thinking the same thing. It would be a very good thing to have cutters more specific to certain key cuts.
Hi there, can you please make a video on how to pick Euro Cylinder locks using a Lishi Tool? I dont know which tool to purchase for Euro Cylinder locks.
Thank you very much :).
Great information!!!
👏👏👏👍👍👍🔓
This Lishi company is amazing.
I'm interested in the included angle and root width of the cutter in the pliers (and how it compares to the CMB/MAX wheel or the PCH punch for code cutting LW4/5). I did see a video from a US youtuber on the pliers being used to copy a Schlage and Kwikset keys and the standard seems similar (with a little 'shimmy' to make up root width, like the 1200 cards show for some keys). I'm not a locksmith, but (as an electronics and IT technician with an interest in mechatronics) I'm guessing the slightly wider included angle wouldn't really hurt anything but the MACS?
Great tool review would be better if duel sided try picking 930 series on right hand door need mirror to see..still getting used to mine!
I’m from the US, I’ve had my KW1 pick for about 3 months. My SC1 pick is about a month old. I asked Mr. Li’s Interpreter about new models, like Corbin/Russwin, Sargent, Yale... His answer was rather blunt, they’re very close to production capacity - meaning they don’t have resources to continue making new tools. You see, we don’t have much Lockwood here, like you probably don’t have much Kwikset there.... These picks cost us $120.
Kwikset all over here and kw1 pick is 120. It is on sale though for 100
I noticed the you picked and decoded from the inside number 5 4 3 2 1 to outside but when you punched the numbers on the cutter machine you went the opposites way , it was 7 2 4 5. 5. , am I correct ? And you do the same scenario for igniton car keys? Love your videos more then the training classes online, ok I wait for your answers sir.
Very nice put video just wondering where did you get the yellow sheet graphics from
The genuine highest quality Lishi tools have Mr li face pictured on them bud that is correct
GOOD FOR YOU WITH THE NEW LISHII decode,Bosniabill and Lock noob have made video using these very interesting, join the loclpick community ,A GREAT EXPERIANCED PICKER IS ,the lockpicking lawyer, also thanks for your video.
Where did you buy the tool from in Australia?
Where would you get them in Australia ? Great job on the👍 video & I noticed that the others on Ebay have not got LISHI face on the handle & THE MATERIAL DONT LOOK THE SAME ALSO
Rusty Shackleford , below said thy are both the real deal,, SO Im guessing he is right.. To buy the one with the face for LW4, see SG locks, tell them I sent you, they may look after you, and they are good for other things too, they are the 3rd supplier, most locksmith only know of 2 in AU
Is such a tool suitable for Apecs cylinder?
Mate where did you buy it, I can’t get it through LSC, and sick of drilling the new lockwoods 😂
So what’s the little Allen key thing for that comes with them?
please send me some information where can i buy these paper books, its a lot better then reading it on computer,
I think KLOM makes those clippers with interchangable jaw-bits.
Thanks, I will check them out
very nice.
Like your video and when I slow you down to .75 speed I can understand you.
Buen día podría enviarme un link de la pajina donde venden ese tipo de herramienta para serrajeria gracias
So you use the Allan key to swap the tool for left and right hand doors?
I guess so, have not not needed to adjust it yet, just got the tool
The pic with Mr. Lishis face is actually sold as the “original Lishi”, and it is the real deal pick. The other one is sold as “genuine Lishi” it is simply a genuine Lishi-type pick.
I found mine gets jammed between the pins as the end is fairly thin is this right or should I be asking for an exchange?
I felt that too, but if you lift the reader up it should get free
Is it interchangeable with kw1?
Also LW5 is now available.
Can you change the key bit for different keyways
No
the two names was something to do with a marketing agreement. that ended or fell apart
It is compatible with European locks???
Lock doctor- Have you ever tried the brand Turbodecoder. I’m thinking of buying their pics. They seem amazing
Hi, I have not, I have investigated thm, but the price for the real tools was high, and the lishi can do the same thing for $100, also another locksmith had a good point, its hard to get customers to pay for a 5 min job, if its 10-20 sec it maybe harder to get paid. I did look into them, and was thinking or reselling them a few years back, but just to buy a set it was about 3500 Euro, so sadly never got the chance to try or use. China have made a copy, but I have not use one yet

Hi sir ! I have lishi kw1, kw5, sc1 and sc4!! It’s help me in my store ! But i have a question !! Wich lishi should i use for WR5 lock i m confused !! Thank’s for helping 🙏
Genuine Lishi pays royalties to Mr Lishi to produce them. So technically they are the same just cheaper by 50%
Don’t tell you. Go to Lockpicklawyer and he shows you how easy it is step by step from padlocks to door locks. He definitely is the BEST I SEEN
Quelle est le prix Lishi LW4 et SC1
Merci
As a locksmith, where online, could i purchase a handy device like this mate?
Both the decoder and clipper

Please help me I need to find a lishi 2in1 for a UK yale lock keyway
sorry we are not a reseller
Do you think these will work on uk locks ? Like euro cylinders
If the space and depth values are the same it should
👍 👍 👍 👍
Hi
Thanks for the fantastic video.
I've tried for a while to find a LW4 and not having any luck.
Where would be the best place to get one from.
I'm in the UK
Many thanks.,,👍👍👍
I found it on SKS LW0-1
Can you use Lw5 on LW4 5 pin?
Maybe if the cylinder is long enough, but most of the time no because you will not be able to push the tool all the way in
How much are those knock offs?
I think you can get them from Baggood.com for around 20 bucks
On the Lishi webiste, you can verify your tools.. And I quote "Please scratch off the coating at the bottom of the label and type in the verification code below." So I guess the ones without that scratch spot are not genuine. Im sure you've learned this by now, but encase you haven't..
Other people are saying they are both real ? made by the same place. Some say it's a marketing thing. So what I have learned is, they both could be real.
Or with sc1
Both are genuine. Mr Lee only sold his in China and lisenced them to the original lishi to sell elsewhere in the world. They are both the real deal. And they are both good. Mr Lee is the inventor.
I knew someone would know, thank you
😉
Hello, are you part of the Lishi company
Deviant Ollam explains the various different Lishi versions quite well in this video: ruclips.net/video/Y023QVd8pvY/видео.html
What I was told, the ones with Lishi's face on does not make them the real ones.. It's the ones with his face AND the Chinese witting. The writing makes it copyrighted..
Did you do a line of coke before you made this video?, slow down
John Doe he needs to go to the loo.
The genuine Lishi one is the genuine one I was trained at the place that own the rights to genuine lishi. The mr lishi ones you can and I have got a few of them from China in my opinion the genuine lishi ones are a lot better and as far as I am aware you cannot buy them from China because there is only one company called UAP/trade locks that can buy them from China were they are made. quality when comparing and using. Genuine lishi also make more than one variant of there picks like there titanium and glow in the dark pic which you have in the video.
I was told the one with Mr Li on the tool is genuine, is this true ? both tools say genuine ?
My understanding is the one with Mr. Li's face is a recent addition to the design, that there were fraudulent ones that didn't work well (or at all) that were popping up with the phrase "Genuine Lishi", even though they weren't. So the face was added as an additional identifier... Of course the knock-offs will start doing the same very quickly, probably already have.
Anyone who knows for certain care to check me on that?
Dr Lock they can both say genuine but genuine lishi came out before mr lishi they are cheaper copies not genuine
I took the lishi class and was informed by the man who is the American representative for lishi that the ones with the face are the real deal.. the others are knockoffs... So everyone can believe what ever they like. I own over 30 and all of mine work great.
U talk really fast mate
Useless unfortunately I bought it toyo 43 AT 100%useless
I did too, and it did not work, never used the toy43 on a job, it did not make it past the bench, I had 0% luck picking with it, maybe its the split wafers
I have the toy 43 and it worked on a Toyota prado 2000 model it took about 1 minute and 30 seconds
Well shit. I’ve got an AT43 on the way to me.
Have had no luck with a TOY43 Dr/Bt , but I'm not exactly sure it's for a 2006 Tacoma. Is that year Tacoma an 8 or10 disk?
Can you please talk quicker, I am in a hurry
