A little ways through a wall falls and you need to have collected several collectables to make it through Because the wall falls, though, people found out that by doing lots of tech you can go under it. (Super, midair super, ultra, and then just a dash)

Those hearts show the amount of hearts you’ve collected “duh” and the hearts can be found in multiple different ways such as built in puzzles and sections that force you to abuse game mechanics such as dashing onto another screen/section of the room your in to regain your dash and one of the hearts even requires you to get 7 or 8 different hidden gems throughout the level and you still need to find the somewhat hidden entrance to the heart room. There are also cassette tapes that are also hidden in every map which unlocks the b side of the level which is a buffed version of the level only 15 rooms long but there are also c sides which are not cassette unlocked but unlocked by completing every b side (keep in mind there is no b or c side for the last chapter) the c sides are kinda like the b sides but even harder and only consist of 3 to 4 rooms these maps are massive tests of skill and are only reserved for some of the higher level players. The only difference between the a sides b sides and c sides are that the hearts are a different colour but that’s basically all And the best part is that’s not even the hardest gate in the game to pass And yes I know other people have explained this but I know a lot about Celeste and love yapping about it but now my fingers hurt so I’ll stop typing for now lol
