- Zoink and wPopoff are the current 2 best geometry dash players right now in my opinion. Beating top demons such as Tidal Wave and Acheron. In this video I will be going over the histories of these two players and coming to a conclusion on which is the better player.

I think wpopoff and zoink are very similar raw skill, but wpopoff has to grind a little more to surpass zoink in achievements.
You dont verify the entire top 3 for nothing

Partially true, but Zoink could take as much time as he need to verify tidal wave, but tbh both are stressful, I doubt Zoink was real stressed during the verification because he was having fun and joking around with he was doing it

i acknowledged that for zoink, but popoff beat it way faster than the effects of beating a top 1 would have so i think the point about him beating it quicker still stands
you say the verification is stressful, what about the race to become first victor? that's probably more stressful since you have a time constraint.

cool video, I think they both should get the spotlight. I believe that popoff is better because of how insane that 3x slaughterhouse completion was but they are both incredibly good players and deserve the same amount of spotlight as the other

Popoff may have been quicker on progress with Tidal Wave then Zoink, but we need to keep in mind that Popoff probably had more motivation to play more attempts while being in a race with Trick to first victor. But then again, Zoink being the verifyer was pretty much racing every gd player in the world so I'm not really sure. Although the Slaughterhouse x3 was insane so Popoff being better than Zoink is pretty likely.
although i personally believe trick should have been considered as the top player in this video I still do think this is a great video.
Also just my opinion but I wouldn't use attempt counts of completions as evidence of someone being better at the game either because it can be easily lied about, and can't really be proved...

i think some things just have to be assumed as true, yes I acknowledge it isnt a very reliable measurement, it's one of the only methods honestly. but I used time taken in days instead for tidla wave and popoff was still faster. trick definitley is a contender for the top spot, this wasn't necessarily a video about who the best player was, rather a comparison between both popoff and zoink

I personally thought that zoink was better but wpopoff was pretty close, but after he did slh x3 i think that thats the thing that concludes the competition leaving him the best. But I think that if wpopoff verify vehemence (he has 52-100 I think) there will probably be a race for top 1’s verifications and that would be crazy, each of them fighting for the number 1 spot (that’s probably not gonna happen, probably a random dude will beat tidal wave out of nowhere and then beat more hard stuff and be considered the best). But anything could happen, like randomly AeonAir beating tidal wave (Seriously, he is beating really hard stuff lately, he beat scream machine and congregation the same day and cosmic cyclone like a week later, he is getting pretty good ngl)

thanks man, about a random person, a doubt it a lot. tidal wave is out of acheron league in difficulty so it would be very hard to go from mid range mainlist to tidal wave. hopefully popoff verifes vehemence yeah!

yeah, but like I said in the video, I think that wPopoff totally has the skill to beat all those levels faster than zoink did, so he is more skilled. I don't really think the amount of achievements is that significant when determining skill in all honesty

It would be easier to know the answer if Popoff included the attempt count on Tidal Wave, but I feel the reason for this is because he dosen't want to be compared to Trick or Zoink, not sure though. These two aloong with Trick are pretty much undoubtedly the best players right now.

When it comes to Tidal Wave, Zoink was the verifier, so of course he will take longer to beat it. wPopoff however raced with Trick, and he had prior experience with the level (i think 24-60 and some other runs, he dropped it cuz it wasn't on the list yet), yet he still lost the race.
One more thing you forgot. Zoink basically achieved everything in this game, so he doesn't have much choice when it comes to his next hard levels. During his rise however, he was so dominant, he was considered better than SpaceUK by many. He also beat the top demons rather quickly, and the top 75 was for him like an easy demon to a normal player.
I'd say there is no point in comparing them. You could compare Zoink and Trick, as they started playing at almost the same time, but Popoff joined in only recently and therefore has more opportunities to show his skill.
It doesn't matter who lost the race, Trick took the most attempt out of all of them, while Wpopoff very very likely the least, estimated 25K-45K Attempts, and 45K is 4K less than 49K which is Zoink's attempts.
popoff beat tidal wave faster than trick, but lost the race. verifying a level brings as much stress as racing for first victor does imo

@@Owner187everyone would say Popoff was better if he took less attempts, but you have to realize Zoink was playing a lot of other levels at the same time, as well as the fact that verifiers always take more attempts. Doggie took 45k on Deimos as the verifier, but Zoink only took two days and 5.4K attempts to become first victor

Tho, I would recommend thinking more about the Zoinky woinky beat every demon on the list as popoff hasn't completed half of the list, and popoff said it himself "were all around the same skill, It's just Zoink has the most achievements out of us".

I think another argument is maybe to look at what kind of levels the two players have beat, because a lot of the levels you mention that wpopoff has under his belt are very wave heavy, which may leave an indicator to his skill set for that game mode specifically, but does he keep up in terms of overall skill too? Never heard of the guy, so would love to be proven wrong. But yeah, when he eventually does have 7000 list points, and that he undeniably can beat levels faster, and that he likely isn’t in his prime yet, it will be obvious that wpopoff is GD’s new prodigy

i think all the top 3 players are basically the same skill level and it honestly just depends on how much they play. yeah trick beat tidal wave first but it was more attempts i think im not sure, nevertheless this was about comparing zoink and popoff, trick wasn't really supposed to be involved. I might make one about trick in the future though since he is the other contender for best player imo.

It's really hard to dictate who's "better" considering the fact that wPopOff has mentioned multiple times before that he doesn't take GD seriously, which is especially emphasized with his complete lack of a reaction in any of his completions. So I think it's safe to say that they're both equally talented at the very least, Zoink is just a far more passionate and prevalent player.
