Disclaimer: Technically, the course is not a "scam" in this sense the word is used colloquially as a way to indicate a rip off or a purchase which is totally not worth the money. Technically, you do get what you pay for, however the real issue here is that it is advertised to an audience which is young and impressionable or uneducated on the topic, with no mention of any other, better sources for improvement. Im sure most of us can agree this is rather immoral and that fact is the primary point I am trying to get across in this video.
It has a tip on how to improve in decorating levels from best creators, it's not a scam, it's just a mid product, you also shouldn't attack denni because all he wanted is some money, from ads.
@@TheGm688 it is certainly falsely advertised and a bad deal. it is advertised as something which will give you good tips on how to get good at gd, while it gives you tips, they aren't worth the money when compared to free sources. Denni just wanted some money from kaiguy but it is at the expense of others, it's not particularly moral

@@GadoGD i was in the 2022 GD create discord server made by him, it was a project where he paid people for making levels for him, you could ''claim'' a level via a discord bot he made, there were a few channels consisting of layout creation, decoration creation, and verifying for money or something. It was somewhere in may where i was the first one to claim making unbalanced nine circles, it was for 45$, it made a new channel where i could talk to kaiguy and tell him about the progress, the level took me 5-6 hours with 1.5 hours being streamed, after giving him the (unlisted) id of the level, he gave me the 45$ via paypal (yes, he did pay me) and he started botting it on stream, he made a few tweaks to the level but it was mostly the same, he posted it to his channel about like 2 weeks later, i was so happy omg (he was my favourite creator when i was 10)
TLDR: he gave me 45$ for making unbalanced nine circles for his video

He used to have a server called GD create, i was the first to claim a level called unbalanced nine circles via a bot he made, it opened a new channel where i could discuss about the level with him, after 2 streams and 5-6 hours of creating the level (i was 10 so it was slow) i finally made the level, uploaded it as unlisted, and gave him the id. He botted and tweaked the level on stream, he paypal-ed me the 45$, he got the 200k views, i was happy for my name to be in a KaiGuy video because he was my favourite youtuber at the time

I remember watching kaiguy when he just started RUclips, I genuinely liked his content back then and we even chatted on discord. I was also payed like $40 to make a wave spam thing for a video by him once, but I know some people that did the same and weren't payed. Then last year I called him out on the scam in his discord (I had like a high rank or whatever so I could speak in announcements) and anyone who agreed with me got banned with me from the server💀

I'd show his "course" (I don't even think you could call it that since it wasn't even educational at all) to my closer friends who don't really play the game and we all agreed it was a scam.
I remember originally it was priced something bizarre like $200 monthly or something insane like that and no one bought in because ain't no one throwing that around. His content, in my opinion, is not so much bad as it is brain rot. He is just making videos for a quick cash grab and he his putting putting 0 effort into them. @@notmyfaultson I assume you mean why would you like him in the first place, and to answer that, his content was wildly different near the start of his RUclips channel, being actually normal gd content and challenges, since then however he deleted most of the old videos, and made his entire channel RUclips shorts brainrot
Not gonna lie, the only reason why Kaiguy has that many subscribers is because his "content" is mostly targeted to non-gd players. One of my friends (that didn't even beat can't let go) showed me one of his shorts... so it's not only a younger audience. Tbh Kaiguy's content farm wouldn't stand out from others (like FakeDenni, CiroXP, etc.) if he didn't start the "Geometry Smash" campaign, which obviously is a scam.
Kaiguys content is the only way to get large amounts of views as a gd youtuber because gd is kind of a small and niche community

As a person that was pretty active in the course and was a moderator at one point (joined in February, left in early April) I can say that the biggest downfall for kaiguy and the course was him making the paid course FREE and closing off the free course. I have to agree, the advice was average and I regret paying $20 a month for it.
I left before he made it free but I come there occasionally to see how the community is doing. I think most people stay there for the community in the course, not kaiguy himself.

I heard that after kaiguy made the paid course free, he wanted to leave the community of like 11k people to like 15 or less moderators and throw all of the rest of the hard work onto the moderators. If you have more info on this allegation on if it's true or not, please let me know.
He did this because he wasn’t interested in GD and gaming as a whole anymore and wanted to move on to do what he actually enjoyed, entrepreneurship. He was losing money because of how much it cosy to make the courses and the worst part for him was that his money was going towards something that he didn’t even enjoy anymore. I think it’s completely understandable that he left Geometry Dash to pursue his dreams. Also, those allegations are not true, Geometry Smash has 669 member as of me writing this and he gave full control of the community to the moderators, including the ability to add more moderators if necessary.

As LordVaderCraft said in one of therealmikes community posts. A bad deal is NOT a scam. Kaiguys course was more of a bad deal. Here is another thing tho. While people were complaining about the paid course KaiGuy had a free version of the course called Dash Academy. So if you didnt wanna pay for the paid course you could of joined the free one. But twitter is Twitter. Am I saying that what denni trick and diamond did was right? Well I would say yesn't. Yes it was over-priced and but as I said is more of a bad deal. And yes Denni trying to tell the people to convice their parents is bad. But if anything I dont see that trick and diamond did anything wrong? Denni was kind of the only one who actually promoted the fuck out of it. But saying that this course doesnt teach you anything is kind of also a lie. (At leasg from my perspective) It really helped me beacuse the Action steps at the end of each day are kind of like giving you motivation to play. And I have 38% on Bloodbath right now. I would say that The course DID help. Now some tips are really fricking dumb. But there also some good ones. The nerve control one might not work in the game. But learning to breath correctly can Help in real life. I thought it was worth it considering it is free now. I dont consider Denni exactly a scammef just promoting once again a bad deal and I just wanna say the difference. The difference is that a scam doesnt do at all what you were promised. While a bad deal in this case Geometry smash DID try to teach you how to be good it was just way to over-priced. And yo dont take this as me Hating ive been liking your content dude. Keep it up. You just earned a sub :)
i think when your advertising it to young children who don't know better, calling it just "a bad deal" is just avoiding the issue, pretending like it isn't very bad. if you're telling a kid that if they follow a course they will become a top player, even if that's technically true, there's no mention of the fact that everything is already free. scam is hyperbolic but it's pretty close to being one

I just wanted to say some stuff. Firstly, I don't care about KaiGuy's content. I used to watch SML so I'm one of the last people to say anything. Second, to me, business is business. I always respect a good hustle.
I think this video conflates ideas with scams, because I don't see anything wrong with personally coaching people yourself. No one else is doing (I think?) and I'd imagine people doing so would use some monetary barrier as motivation. But KaiGuy's course seems kinda disingenuous from a guy who seems to be a disingenuous guy just looking for quick money. Denni seems even worse than KaiGuy by doubling down and not apologising. Kinda sad but it is what it is. If it were all quality there wouldn't even be a problem.
Anyway this is from what I have gathered. Idk if there's something missing or whatever. I just hope people become better.
With respect, I disagree with this video. I used to WORK for kaiguy as back then he was planning on making documentary videos and we had a whole team. This project was abandoned later on. I got into a big drama with kaiguy but I later realized that it was all a big misunderstanding and it was neither of our faults. I went from disliking him to actually finding him chilled. I dont think his stuff is a scam as its literally the choice of the person to choose if they want to obtain the info or not. Yes, you can find the info somewhere else for free but that is a normal aknowledgement when buying a course like this. The reason people would buy it is because they want the information explained by Kai himself and dont want to go through lots of useless videos to eventually find the right info.
I dont think Kai is a scammer, whatever is with Denni I dont know nor do I have a proper opinion on but needless to say that I (with respect) disagree.

I think what would've been worth mentioning is that the only part of Kai's content that is his own is his face and reactions. He pays for the levels he uses in shorts, he pays for editors (which would be fine on its own), and he pays for writers if he ever makes a scripted video. I was supposed to be his lead writer or something when he started KaiGuy Productions, but that was cancelled for financial reasons. I did write one video for him where i was credited at the bottom of the description for "helping" with the script, as all the comments complemented Kai for his grest storytelling and writing. I mean no disrespect to Kai because I don't think he was ever malicious to me but i think my experience is worth something in this conversation

Hi, just want to share my thoughts. First of all, he has to pay 100$ per month to maintain the course and he has to pay an editor to create the videos.
Secondly, he is a bloodbath victor that (if I remember correctly) has beaten river's part in sh.
Also, while the course is not perfect and is the main selling point, the real value in the community is that there are hundreds of other GD players that want to get better and improve their life, and you can grow together.
Also KaiGuy is unlikely to respond, he said he is not interested in controversy. Many responses will be from community members.

I can understand the problem in Kai being a brainrot creator. That he is. But this course has genuinely helped me and many others. I think this will genuinely help many others as well, and I hope to see them succeed in GD! You can do whatever you set your mind to, and it will improve many other aspects of life as well!
Bloodbath is not hard enough for him to be able to comment on top play, bloodbath is not particularly difficult. The course was not sold as a community, the main selling point was that it could make you better at gd, which it can, but free alternatives can also do the same. Did you hear the tips he was giving that I talked about in this video? Next to useless lol imagine charging money for that, all evidence points, other than kais words himself, Kai just simply wanting to make more money, and it failed. It makes it even worse that it is targeted towards children

Honestly, in my opinion KaiGuy is on the right path in life. He wants money because he wants a good life, why do people hate that? Why do people hate someone for trying not to be a loser in life? He makes over $20,000 every month, has a girlfriend, has good physical and mental health and his parents don't have to work anymore because he's grinding for success. Meanwhile, the people hating on him are just losers who spend all day on Twitter and Discord e-dating and wasting time (which is why most of them are depressed and have bad mental health).
Kai has pretty much retired from RUclips to focus on online sales now, and he's making thousands of dollars every month. He's even appeared on multiple podcasts, which you can find if you search his name. People shouldn't hate someone for trying to be successful, especially when those people don't even seem to care about living a good life themselves. If they want to spend 8 hours a day playing Geometry Dash to grind useless numbers like list points or demons, that's their choice, but let's be real, that’s just being a loser. All those numbers they grind on GD won’t help them in adulthood at all, you can’t say you beat Bloodbath on your summary, for example. Maybe one day they'll realize KaiGuy was on the right path.
People won’t live and breathe Geometry Dash for the rest of their lives. Sunix was once the best player of all time, but in The Dasher Podcast #19, he mentioned that he just stopped gaming and now has a regular job. No one in real life cares about the amazing things he accomplished in GD. Now, imagine if instead of spending all that time on GD, he had focused on becoming rich like KaiGuy did? He would probably have a much better life now. There’s nothing wrong with working a regular job btw, I'm just saying it’s much better to be your own boss and be rich.
However, I do agree that trying to sell a course like that to children is quite dumb. Even though he gets millions of views, his organic traffic is mostly 9-year-olds who barely even play Geometry Dash. His VSL videos are well-produced, but they were targeted at kids with no buying power, which obviously resulted in poor course sales. But it’s fine, he learned that and pretty much retired from Geometry Dash. As I mentioned earlier, he’s now focusing on online sales, specifically RUclips algorithm strategies and online sales courses.

This comment makes the dangerous assumption that personal values can never be as inherently important as financial success. I mean, you're right, the success in financial space is more valuable to people everywhere, but that's because of it can never not be valuable. However, that doesn't mean it is a be all. You can have all the money in the world and still live an unfulfilling life.
I'd 100% respect the one who grinds video games for great achievements than the one who spends on his money on soulless women, drinking poison and materialistic nonsense. It's all a matter of balancing things. Become valuable to the masses as well as enjoying the only life you live.
