Excellent explanation. Thank you so much. 🌞✨
You're very welcome! 🌿✨ We're so glad you found it helpful-do you have a favorite RAV Vast scale? 😊
Thank you Edoardo, that demonstration was very helpful. I can hear the additional melodic versatility in the B Kurd. That has changed my future purchasing plans!
We're glad it was helpful
Edo is a true talent 🙏
I'm glad this could help!
Love the B celtic ! 🤗
Thank you friend 💙🙏
I’ve got B celtic, but the Kurt makes such a difference. I loooves both songs which you played.
💙🙏
Man! I wish I could play mine that well!
All is ahead my friend 💙😉
The B Kurd has everything the Celtic has and then some, it’s really just the arrangement that is different. Perhaps the Celtic is easier to approach, but the added depth of the Kurd is worth the effort to work on the steeper learning curve. I love my BKurd, it’s my first hand drum and I’m glad I didn’t start with an ‘easy beginner’s scale’, because now I’m not likely to be intimidated by a ‘more difficult’ instrument.
Good point my friend. Definitely gives you experience
It warms our hearts to hear about your love to one of our scales 💙
Rock on!
Man I wish there was a top down view of the the B Kurd song, it sounded so good.
B Kurd is far more versatile and just a bit harder to learn. Can play the same songs as with B Celtic, perhaps sometimes not as easy/convenient but manageable.
There are strong and weak sides to each scale, thank you for sharing your experience with them 💙🙏
How do you recognise which way up the drum goes?
The tongue on the top of the drum has to be pointed toward you!
Hope that helps 💙😉
1:00 there is no "B Kurd Double Ding" and it's wrong to call B Kurd as "double ding". Ding is the lowest note and there is only one "double ding" model-B Celtic Double Ding which has the A2 ding note (complementing the regular B2 ding available on B Celtic). G3 note in B Kurd doesn't make it "double ding" as G3 is much higher than the B2 ding note. Also, there is a common misunderstanding when people who have no experience with RAVs/handpans see the two smallest notes in the layout crammed together (like on B Kurd and B Celtic Double Ding) and think it's called "double ding", which is of course wrong.
I thought they called this scale "double ding". If that's not the case, than that's my mistake.
Wie sieht es denn aus bei der gleichen Stimmung wenn ein elektroakustik gegen eine originale über mikrofon gespielt wird bzw wie sich die beiden gegeneinander im im echten Leben zueinander verhalten
Electroacoustics are better for big performances, the drum can be connected to speakers and regulated as well as mixed with other instruments. As for the originals, they sound good with a microphone, but mixing can be a bit more challenging
Hope that helps 💙😉
@@RAVVastSteelTongueDrum my question is:
How similar is the sound while both are unplugged.
I got 2 electroacoutics (g pygm, a interg.) and no "original"
They supposed to be very close to the classic RAV in term of sound when unplugged 😉
We created them so you could play them not plugged and unplugged
