We stopped there. I was recommended by my ex-wife that it would be no good, but I and my partner enjoyed it I have been on 12 Caledonian holidays / National Holidays coaches 2 days 3 days & 4 days travelled all over the country from Stockton (Teesside.).. But my ex is one of these people who are not happy unless she goes to the likes of Mexico / Florida las Vegas them places .... but I have told her we are quite happy to go on a coach holiday somewhere in the UK ..... Scotland stopping at the claymore Caledonian Arrochar are well recommend & also Liverpool at the Adelphi .😂🏴 .
Have been on Caladonian to Oban and fort Willian was lovely , had a friend with me . Do you meet ladies who travel on there own coz not sure about travelling on my own . Happy birthday to you 🎂
On occasion people travel alone but they are always made welcome and often end up finding new friends. Just make sure the trip provider has single rooms or it may be more expensive. Give it a go enjoy your self .
If you travel on your own the coach driver is on his own been on my own a few times I live on my own so I may as well holiday on my own I once worked with a guy who went abroad on his own you always meet other people who are on their own as well and the good thing about these Coach trips everybody's in the same boat because if they had money they would be going abroad lol 😂🏴
The train must open in season .the statues are Lewis Carroll Alice in wonderland yes I passed a few but never really thought of filming them there only small .Next time I will .Thanks for comment

Yes the food isn't to good no vegetarian meals to my knowledge breakfast is the best .cereal full English toast scramble eggs. The spoons is 5 min away left out hotel then right use phone to navigate shops are close flat walking hope this helps

A lot of the hotels that Caledonian coaches use need TLC but it's not the room you have got to think of that is just a base ... It's the actual holiday and also good value for money. These places are not the Ritz, but there again, it's not the Ritz money either, lol 😂🏴

To right jack we love the claymore I can do 10 trips or more fore the price of abroad probably bump in to you on a trip one day

not impressed with new loretta needs updating food fair
Agreed needs some TLC my room was clean but a bit dated lift kept breaking down. But reasonable price and not bad location
True does need work my room was clean I don't spend a lot of time in hotels like to get out and about
