Great to see you back think when river is running with extra water now the salmon just want to run as fast as possible to get closer to spawning ground
Fantastic video and great to watch thsnk you 👍🏻. Love the hat too by the way..any tips on where to get one please? I've a couple of days guided on the Tweed first week of November, so will need it i think
Fantastic thank you for subscribing and commenting. The hat is made by Drizabone and I bought it years ago when i went to Australia on holiday but am sure you can get one here. I also have a tilley hat. I will be on the Tweed in November so our paths may cross. Tight lines 👍
So typical! The only day I wasn't fishing! I was on dalguise Monday to wednesday and newtyle Thursday and Saturday. On Friday it was day time drinking in dunkeld 😂 Would be great to take a cast or two with you some time 😊
Good to have you back for your Sunday evening broadcast 👍 the casting has defo improved. You inspired me to try this salmon fishing lark... managed to catch my first, a fresh 11 1/2 lb'er on the Wye a couple of weeks ago 👌 thank you!!!
Well done- you seem to throw a good long line- I've caught the vast majority of my fish on small rivers in Wales but now fish fly only; I struggle with my Hardy 15'4 but I think you've persuaded me to get it out again- 13' is fine but we'll see! Tight lines-Tom
Hi mate I was thinking of booking a day on Newtyle end of January just to get out and get in the water. Do you think it’s fishable with the fly and wading around that time of year? Thanks
Thanks you probably haven't seen my other films but I tow my caravan up from Cornwall and like to break up my journey by stopping a couple of times on the way up. 👍

I couldn't agree more Neil 👍
Lovely, if a bit damp. I'm fishing the Tay at Dunkeld tomorrow. Not on a salmon ticket, but still looking forward to it enormously.
Have fun!
Looks a lovely bit of water to fish. Theo is loving being out on the bank was great to meet him and yourself in person.
Amazing thank you. Nice to meet you too😊

Amazing thank you. I'll be staying in Gattonside for the week, so if you are around give me a shout for a 🍻. It'd be great to meet you.
Nothing wrong with the hat Chris imo.👍
Proper job 👍🍺

You couldn't make it up. I am sure we will be fishing the same beat one day. I met 3 subscribers on this trip. Thanks for the support
It looked like theo was having a good run around.
It looked a very nice place to fish

Hey Tom, just let the rod do the work 😉
Size 10 Hot Orange Allys Shrimp Tied on an Edmund's Durrie Treble never failed on this beat for me in July
Noted 👍

Not really sure tbh. It's going to depend on conditions / river height. I only fished there once. Sorry i can't be of more help
@@CornishChrisTheFish No that’s fine I’ve never fished the Tay before and dying to get out so might just book it and see on the day! Thanks
Tight lines 👍
How does it take 3 days to get from Cornwall to Scotland?

@@CornishChrisTheFish I see makes sense now. Great video as well thank you.
