I think it's comical that he thinks for 2 seconds that even one juror would be on his side from his antics in the courtroom alone. They saw plenty even with the judge excusing them every 5 min. She said they have to walk a bit to get back and forth when he won't behave. Clown.
This is the best DA’s Team I’ve ever witnessed during any trial. They basically got the criminal to testify without him even testifying. 🤷🏾♀️If you know, you know. 😂😂😂😂

@Lisa : Even if he had kept his defense attorneys he would have ended up with life, looking at his list of criminal activities; I am sure it was explained to him he would not be going anywhere except his permanent residence would be a prison cell. That why he decided to defend himself because he is always referring to the cameras.

From his mom's 911 phone call, her assisting police so willingly, her not showing up when "she'll show up when she's told to show up...i think the second she knew he couldnt shoot a gun at her grandchild anymore or live in her car while in the driveway, she secretly was glad to get rid of him but in the view of the public or on the phone with him she was on his side

All true but that was brooks car in her name only. His license got suspended, he had felonies and child support debt. The vehicle couldn’t go in his name. I heard that Dawn Woods is not a driver. But you are right, she is glad he won’t be back.

A judge's position is very different from the prosecutor adversarial position,so it's her position to not show bias to either one, defense or Prosecution. Her sentencing showed how well she did her job.

Brooks has now brought up his rap sheet, his assault of Ericka, his assault of Corey, the veracity and heroism of this witness, the proof that Brooks owned the red SUV, a motive for Brooks’ temper in driving through the parade, all while displaying his depraved disregard for the women and his subsequent murder of adults and children. Great job!

"at any moment he's gonna break down & throw himself on the mercy of the court" .... but nope.... what's really telling is an inmate said to me .... even the Nazis wouldn't want that joker.....
Fantastic point. I’ve never worked corrections. But you hear things in the community over the years. Normally every inmate has their breaking point. But this one is just a real mess ! he was not only void of empathy in every level. He was hell bent to cause chaos every where he went when ever possible. A unique criminal.

Agreed. He was the State's star witness. My opinion on why he called his own victims as witnesses for his defense:
The witnesses he called were also potential State's witnesses early on. The prosecution changed their minds and didn't call them because they either
A.) Didn't feel it was necessary to put the victims through more unnecessary pain (like the mother DB called, who had 3 or 4 children, all severely injured in the attack) when they had so many witnesses already
B.) The witness gave conflicting statements about the color/make of the vehicle or how many people they saw in the vehicle or the witnesses couldn't recall enough detail to be of great help to their case...and
C.) The witness had a criminal record (Abel Lezcano)
DB saw that the state decided not to call these people and decided they MUST be trying to "hide stuff from the jury." He also wanted to call anyone who put in their statements to police that they heard a horn honking or thought the vehicle was of a different make (like the witness who thought it was a Chevy Blazer) or stated that they saw multiple people in the car (Abel.) He thought calling these witnesses would give the jury reasonable doubt, like "Oh, well, some people said it was a red Ford, some said it was a Chevy Blazer." Or "The witness DID say they heard a horn honk and others didn't." Darrell calling these witnesses was a perfect example of desperately grasping at straws...and my GOD, did it ever backfire!!

5:07 “I didn’t look at it, so I don’t know what I’m supposed to say.” As he flippantly shrugs, tries to look around like he could care less and is confused as to why they’re even asking him that. Brooks, YOU wanted to be your own lawyer. You have to look at documents and answer to them. If not, then you can’t cry foul when the motion is passed and you’re overruled. Brooks thinks his SovCit filings are all law and NEED to be answered on the record but none of the State’s actual law filings matter to him. 😂 What a joke! He refuses to look at anything the State files with the court and wants the State to read them into the record for him to then respond. He can read himself, he’s just lazy! When they won’t reread things into the record (a delay tactic) because they’re not bound by law to do so, he throws a tantrum and won’t move on. This situation in this clip where he simply didn’t acknowledge the paperwork from the State is the reason they stopped sending filings to his cell. He won’t read them and is then given them in court where he can later “try” to argue that he wasn’t given enough time to answer. It’s BS and won’t hold up but it’s what he tries to do to delay.
When it came to jury instructions and verdict forms, that was the reason he had to stay an hour later than everyone so the documents could be handed to him and then he can’t lie and say “I didn’t get them. I didn’t see them. No one gave them to me.” It’s a clear tactic he does when he doesn’t want to acknowledge actual laws and filings. If he doesn’t “accept” them, then they don’t exist. Just like when he was given copies of filings he already had from the court and written orders ON CAMERA and then says he “never saw them or got them” while looking at the camera. He lies all the time. He even looked at the camera and RIPPED UP a written decision about SMJ in front of the jury while looking at the camera and Judge to make sure they saw. Ripping it up doesn’t make it go away or make it any less legal. He should’ve been charged for every extra copy they had to print for him even when everyone knows he was given a first copy. He should be charged for the autopsy reports he claimed he “didn’t have” and then lied in front of the jury and said “Was I supposed to have them because I don’t!” LIES. It was all in discovery that I bet if I looked through, I would find in seconds. Then he leaves the copies IN COURT as if they don’t matter. He should be charged for every document he ripped up, threw in the trash, left behind or discarded at HIS expense.
After the medical examiners testified he picked up the autopsy reports and threw them to the side of the monitor 😡😡😡😡 After sitting there pretending to be upset by the reports 😡😡😡then threw them like trash just like he ran over them like they were trash

Judge Dowor was exceptional! She was more than fair, she went over and above to oblige DB! I think she did that intentionally to cover all the bases so he has no cause or reason for an appeal. Which would be a total waste of the tax payers dollars!
She could have done that along with taking control of him and her courtroom way in the beginning. She allowed him to disrespect her and everyone else in her courtroom.

i think his defense plan is to call everyone who didn’t see him drive through the parade, and try to create doubt. there are billions of people who didn’t see him drive through the parade. he could have called me to the stand. i also have not had a conversation with the state of wisconsin. i’m probably the exact person he think will get a not-guilty verdict.
