It's another 5 tips in a short sharp package for Baldur's Gate 3...hope you enjoy it! What class/classes are you gonna roll with at launch? Let me know below!
My first play through will probably be with a Bard/Warlock playing the Light Side of the Farce, and then my 2nd play through I'll go with a Melee Ranger on the Dark Side of the Farce... :)
Great ideas! I've got some ideas of what I'll play myself but I guarantee I'll get to the new character creator and have analysis paralysis, like always! :D
My problem is not with the game, but with my huuuuge backlog of games I still have to play. Seems like a waste to buy a new game when I have games like Sensua Hellblades Sacrifice, Pathfinder Crusade and a lot of other games in my library... When I play BG3, I'll definitly start with a mage - I almost always play mage characters in RPGs. (However, in RPGs with a party I sometimes "cheat" and look up which characters I'll take in my party. And ajust my main character accordingly. I do not like to stumble along a great character I'd like to take a long - just to realize that he is exactly the same char as my main and I just can't fit him into the party. Or that I have to take a certain character I dislike, just because he is a healer I sorely lack)
I believe you can also set the Grease Spell AOE on fire as well... Or throw down a small water patch around targets, using a bottle of water (or water spell) and then use a lightning spell on them for more damage... Combo's of spells/abilities/object and other ground effects are fun...
Love it, didn't know any of these. My character onece got stuck and floating in air and couldn't enter some rooms with the rest of the gruop. Ended up reloading a save, wish I knew this trick lol.

@wedgeantilles8575 ah yes! The gaming backlog. I know it well. Totally understand that. BG3 will be waiting when you are ready :)
Two weeks more... Can't wait
Gonna be the longest two weeks ever, for you and me, I'm certain!! ;)
Great tips, keep up the good work!
Thanks so much Nathan! Appreciate the comment and you spending the time to watch! :)

That's exactly right, I think I used the grease spell in the video, cheated a bit even though I said grease bottle haha! Thank you for the comment!
Great tips, thx and keep up the good work 😉
I'm very grateful, thank you!

Hehe yep I've certainly had something similar happen!
You can send barrels to camp and bring them to a different location to prepare a later battlefield beforefand with oil-bartrels and explosives.
This right here is a GREAT TIP!!!! Thank you so much for sharing that idea!!!
I wish I'd found your channel earlier this would have saved me so much time 🥲
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
