Guidance all the time. There's even an amulet that gives it so you can have two characters cast it, which is important because it doesn't work on the caster. You should never make a skill roll without Guidance if you can possibly avoid it.
Greetings, Programs! Which race and class are you going to play when BG3 goes full release on August 3 for PC players? I'll be multiclassing, but haven't narrowed it down enough yet. Need to try the Monk and subclasses before I decide for first run
I loved BG + BG2 back than. BG2 even more, because I didn't enjoy the very first char levels not that much. A lucky it could kill you too fast, mages had too little spells to be usefull. That you started with a higher level in BG2 was perfect IMO. In generel, I loved the characters and how the game felt - how good is BG3? It it a worthy successor?
Definitely a worthy successor. I've been playing Early Access BG3 for a few years now, and I really feel it'll make a right splash on full release. Baldur's Gate the city itself is in and it's looking big and alive, with that Larian magic like from D:OS 1 and 2. BG fans are gonna love returning characters like Minsc etc, and that will really help. I really like that the tactical side feels very solid with a DnD overlay on top of the solid Divinity combat. And one of the things I didn't love about Divinity was TOO much of the environmental stuff, smoke, oil, fire fields etc. This is in BG3 but definitely toned down to a reasonable level. Many many ways to go about winning combat and I love that. The RPG elements are great and I think full release is really gonna dial those up! I'm excited!
Hi! You absolutely can keybind skills and spells. Firstly, many like hide, jump and shove are already bound to keys. But you can place skills and spells in your custom hotbar, and they get assigned a slot number, which you can press on your keyboard to ready the spell/skill then click where you want to apply it.

Perfect tip. Fantastic cantrip and definitely a tip I will put in a future video, thank you
Nice Tipps !
Just a hint : there will be a key ring in the inventory which collects all your keys automatically in the full version. 😊

I shall be laughing at you, because I started playing at August 3rd. Or even 72 hours before that.
Yep I posted that just before the big announcement. I should probably edit it haha

Is it not possible to keybind skills? Must I really click on them for each use?

@GamingMagicMark OH CRAP!! Pretty embarrassing I didn't notice that before, thanks a ton!!!
You're welcome! Glad I could help! I was playing in Grymforge (again) when your question came in :)
Monk! Obviously 😂
Fingers crossed it's as much fun as they can make it be! Which race will you play it as?
