@@childoflight9084 It doesn't work like that. He would need to scale them first. Wukong can't copy someone who transcends him, and Anos may transcend regular Wukong. Wukong couldn't copy the Jade Emperor or Buddha in the Journey to the West. Buddha Wukong is different, but he can't fight in that state anyway.

I'm also a huge GoW fan, and hope to see sun wukong in the GoW franchise, in a very impactful fight with kratos. Him and only kratos stands a chance at holding wukong off while the gang tries to find ways to lessen the burden on kratos, IE scorpions venom that was capable of harming the great budha, perhaps a lengthy adventure with mimir, Atreus, and Freya perhaps even Tyr; down into their version of hell to reinstate sun Wukongs name in the book of he dead In their verse perhaps at a tragic price. @@damoniwhite I'm too poor to buy a ps5 but I binge watched the story. And my opinion still stands. Kratos can indeed control his rage but not to the extent that asura has. He's still afraid of letting all out as we can see during his first fight with Thor. But if we're talking about fully raged out Kratos this fight would never end. Both of them are literally too angry to die and only getting stronger as the battle progresses.

If they put the Chinese myths last, how many pantheons will this have happened to? How many new tricks will he learn along the way? How many new weapons and powers will he obtain? I've never heard of Sun Wukong before but, this just revealed how many animes base some character off of him. For example, as you mentioned Goku was based on him, but I realised so is Monkey King Enma (Hiruzen Sarutobi's summon) from Naruto who can turn into a staff that changes size

There are quite a few mistakes in this video as i could understand most people here have never read journey to the west. Sun wukong is the strongest fighter but he also have limit, at least had five or six draw fights in the book, and needed to call help from other superior god or Buddha to rescue his master. For instance the magical power from guan yin buddha is way above wukong’s level.
Wukong grew in wisdom in his imprisonment, and figured out how to realpolitik his way through supposed challenges. Like he challenges folks by announcing that he's the Great Sage Equal to Heaven... and if they go "You mean stable boy?" He knows they're part of the Celestials faction. If not, then they might be Buddhist (ask around to check and call their master who sent them down to take credit for dealing with them if they are), or they could just be some rando who he can kill without consequence. Also some of his other draw fights were more personal like "I'm not about to kill my sworn brother's son". He could solo the three monsters nearest the Buddha's place, including the Buddha's nephew, and could fight them for a day even with his two sandbag fellow disciples draggin him down. Meanwhile, he half-assed beating on Taishang Laojun's two cauldron-keeper boys and later on beating Laojun's mount, all of whom he recognized. So his power scales between "loses against two random staffers" and "even fight with the mount of one of the three primary deities of Daoism" and "solos the Buddha's nephew".
You can't say the budhsattas hierarchy is infinite since that isn't stated at all, it's just an unwuatifiable hierarchy. Buddha Wukong would be 4 layers into outer.
LOL you can say anything that you want to wank your character, but at the end of the day, they'll need to beat more than 1 copy of wukong and if somehow they do manage to beat every single copy, they will eventually fight themselves, because wukong can copy characters too and just as strong as the original. That's just too much to handle. Imagine fighting 84,000 copies of yourself. That's overkill.

I'm also a huge GoW fan, and hope to see sun wukong in the GoW franchise, in a very impactful fight with kratos. Him and only kratos stands a chance at holding wukong off while the gang tries to find ways to lessen the burden on kratos, IE scorpions venom that was capable of harming the great budha, perhaps a lengthy adventure with mimir, Atreus, and Freya perhaps even Tyr; down into their version of hell to reinstate sun Wukongs name in the book of he dead In their verse perhaps at a tragic price. Would love to see sun wukong for the first time meet a worthy opponent, starts off as either a struggle or with kratos raging (if boi is harmed before hand) I just got so many ideas for this fight it ain't funny

Wiping out pantheon of deities is a cornerstone of Kratos' character and story. And honestly the more time between now and him actually getting their just gives him more experience in this. If they put the Chinese myths last, how many pantheons will this have happened to? How many new tricks will he learn along the way? How many new weapons and powers will he obtain? Truth is if Kratos goes to Chinese mythology it will be no different than the ones we've seen so far. People thinking Kratos is going to fail...and being wrong.

There are quite a few mistakes in this video as i could understand most people here have never read journey to the west. Sun wukong is the strongest fighter but he also have limit, at least had five or six draw fights in the book, and needed to call help from other superior god or Buddha to rescue his master. For instance the magical power from guan yin buddha is way above wukong’s level.
Guan Yin is no longer above post-Nirvana Wukong.
Wukong grew in wisdom in his imprisonment, and figured out how to realpolitik his way through supposed challenges.
Like he challenges folks by announcing that he's the Great Sage Equal to Heaven... and if they go "You mean stable boy?" He knows they're part of the Celestials faction. If not, then they might be Buddhist (ask around to check and call their master who sent them down to take credit for dealing with them if they are), or they could just be some rando who he can kill without consequence.
Also some of his other draw fights were more personal like "I'm not about to kill my sworn brother's son".
He could solo the three monsters nearest the Buddha's place, including the Buddha's nephew, and could fight them for a day even with his two sandbag fellow disciples draggin him down. Meanwhile, he half-assed beating on Taishang Laojun's two cauldron-keeper boys and later on beating Laojun's mount, all of whom he recognized. So his power scales between "loses against two random staffers" and "even fight with the mount of one of the three primary deities of Daoism" and "solos the Buddha's nephew".
