The fights were fine and fun, but the story... hated it. Compared to any other raid series, this is crap. I'm already no fan of Solution 9, and having it shoved into my face isnt helping...
0:55 --- There is no backstory to any of them. We only get to know Yaana a little bit because she shows us around, but we know nothing about the other two fighters except their fightstyle - thats not backstory.
1:12 --- No, its not. She didnt do anything to improve for others. She didnt even warn her own sister (!!!) that doing these fights is dangerous. She didnt go to Sphene, she didnt inform Zoraal Ja, she did nothing. She just mopped around trying to save her own behind. And I'm like, "serves you right". How many other fighters died since you left because you were such a coward? - Did I mention I hate this story? I really do...
The fights were fun, no question. I already got my tokens but I'll take another look comming weekend. There are some new mechanics involved and the pacing really keeps you on your toes. Its not my favorite thing, to be honest, but I can see the appeal. Do it a couple more times though, and you'll learn to do this in your sleep :)
Maybe I enjoyed it because it was so simple and quick. I felt like the msq drained my soul a bit.
How come u hate solution 9? It's one of my favorite areas
And you may be right about them becoming much easier. Except for M2 that's alot of dodging that seems randomized.
@@Manchild_Gaming I suppose it simply the design... I'm in general not a fan of this futuristic sci-fi stuff; it took me a while to warm up to garlean magitech, and that stuff is from ARR... That, and the fact that the alexandrians made a mockery of life, and I'm made to just smile and let it be, despite the fact I really, really, reeeaaaally want to level that bloody tower... And yeah, the raid story was fine in that regard: straight to the point, no questions :)
It did feel wierd to me that we went from this contest to the throne straight to star trek type stuff...it was a rough transition.
@@Manchild_Gaming I didnt mind that too much... the devs had teased enough material for us to know that the "summer vacation" was a hoax. Overall the story was good... even the pacing was fine. What vexed me were small things... like the dialog options I was given. Silly things mind, but with the alexandrian stuff and now the raid series...
