    Particle systems in Blender have died since there are Geometry Nodes Fields in Blender. With this Geometry Nodes 3.0 model you can create an arbitrarily large and flexible particle system. It can be used, for example, to represent microbiological processes, such as the movement of blood cells, viruses or bacteria, or simply to make dust particles float around in the air.
    This tutorial is part of my series "Blender for Scientists" or "Blender medical Animations", because you can use the Particle Simulation excellent for the representation and animation of blood cells, bacteria, viruses and other microbiological elements.

    I used -1 to 1 for the random value vector, color for the noise rgb curves and to radians for the vector rotate, for the angle i did some math with frame and modulo

    8:30 dont work, u change the value in noise texture, i do the same but still dont work, but work if connect color output from noise texture to color input in rgb curve, and i found interesting thing: if connect multiply node after the subtract the particles behave interesting

      I realized that if I change only the last point on the right side of the RGB Curves, the randomness starts to work (14:54). Maybe that's the problem. But anyways - don't think there is only THAT one way to create random noise. Glad to hear that it worked finally.

      This kind of comments gives me satisfaction - more than the 5 euros / month that the channel will bring in a year :-D Thanks!

    Thanks for having such a inspirational source down here! I am relatively new to Blender so i followed your tutorial with a small amount of blender knowledge. based on the ver. 3.4.1 on macOS i have some serious issues that i cannot understand. First of all all movements are very shaky and far from smooth. BTW @8:30 does not work as Konstantin mentioned. Are there fundamental versioning gaps between your version and my version of blender? (i downloaded both on gumroad (blood in veins and looped particles)) thanks in advance

    Hey there! I just followed through the tutorial, and I absolutely love it. Thank you for creating this! One question - at the end of the video when you use the blood cell collection, around 20:20 you mention that the blood cells are too small and you can scale it up - I apologize I can follow along with these geometry node tutorials but I for the life of me don't know where the scaling would be to increase the size of the blood cells. How do I make them larger?

    • @blenderdude5050
      @blenderdude5050  2 года назад +1

      Hi, the scaling Node for the Custom Particles (Blood Cells) is the same as for the IcoSphere standard Particles. You can control them with the min and max size from the "Random" Node.

    hello! How do I change the speed of the animation? with 251
    frames looks very fast!

    • @blenderdude5050
      @blenderdude5050  2 года назад

      Hi, just drag the keyframe from 251 to something higher. ckick on the GN object and you should see the keyframe ik the timeline.

      @@blenderdude5050 I set the key frame at frame 251, 5001 or 1001, but, it's the same speed

      Hmm, just tried it, works if you move the last keyframe.... For me, the first keyframe was automatically moved as well, did you make sure that you actually only selected and moved the last one?

      @@blenderdude5050 It does slow down but it ruins the loop. Is there any way to slow it down and keep the loop?

    • @peterjancok7656

      Nvm i got it. Last number of frames has to be 360 multiplied by something. For example you can set the last frame to 720 or 1080.

    Hey man, loved the tutorial but ended up just purchasing on your gum road for speed. For some reason the file isn't animating and I'm not sure where I'm going wrong? Wondering if there's been a blender update since first publish that breaks something - or I'm just missing a step somewhere? Any help would be much appreciated man

      Hi, sorry for that - pretty sure it's a version problem with blender and geometry nodes. the nodel was created with version 3.0 or 3.1 one year ago...

      Hi, like most ideas this model came out of a necessity - I didn't find anything about Looped Particle anywhere on RUclips - so I had to come up with something myself. But I also had to try it out. Didn't work right away, like in the tutorial.
