My Apologies, i just realized!!!! I am humbled that you stopped by, Your song was absolutely perfect and captured my emotions on this adventure!!!! Thank you! 🙏
BTW, I’m still patiently getting used to my new ‘22 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT here in MD, and I love it!!! I highly recommend this bike for anyone that may have a disability that prevents them from using a clutch and are looking to get back in the saddle again. 👍
Outstanding, The DCT brought me back to riding after 10 years away! i have problems with my left wrist..... You are close by, there's quite a few of us in the DMV area now!! I look forward to riding with you in the near future!
I ran roads on my 1100 DCT in WV and nearby states (tail of the dragon, etc.) a couple of weeks ago, spectacular roads around there!!! I am in Wisconsin, it was a 3500mile trip over 11 days, amazing. Awesome video! BTW, I owe you for the Cruisetec recommendation, they were amazing on those roads.
Awesome video! I'm 76 years old. Still riding bikes. Just bought 1100T three months ago. Fantastic bike for me! I was over the road truck driver for years. Went through places like WV. Always wandered what was down those mysterious roads! Thanks, you and your companions rock!!!
Amazing video. I am so excited - I am picking up my first bike, a 2024 manual Rebel 1100 in Maryland in just a few days, and spending a long weekend in the Maryland/West Virginia area. Going to be a perfect place for my first few rides before heading home to central VA. Thanks for sharing - your excitement is 100% how I'm going to feel, I just know it. On a motorcycle taking in beautiful nature.
Congratulations Mathew! Very excited for you brother! WV and sw VA have the best motorcycle roads! Please join the rebel 1100 world Facebook group, lots of great people in there and a wealth of information to help you along your journey, hopefully we can ride together in the future when we do rebel 1100 group rides in the area 🤙
Just rode my 1100 today for the first time! Rolled off the lot with 0 miles on the odometer. My friend took me up some amazing and beautiful twisties to an overlook about 30 minutes west of Berkeley Springs, WV. The 1100 in rain mode was the perfect start for me. Solid, forgiving on my less-than-stellar shifts, and loooooooves the turns.
@matthewmaclauchlan1671 congratulations Mathew, I'm so happy to hear that man! The more you ride it and dial it in to your comfort, the more you will love it! I'm at 30,000 miles and love it more today than I did the very very time I left the dealership! 🤙
I don’t know what happened but my previous comment was taken down! Once again I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this video, and how amazingly scenic it was. Also, I am happy that the rider that went down is alright. It’s just a warning to us to always look where we’re going before we end going where we’re looking! Thank you, great job. 👏👍
Oh man, i did see your comment and responded to it! i wonder what the bots didn't like about our conversation.... Thank you for your kind comments brother, like you i am so happy that the rider was not hurt, it did affect the morale of the group. the reminder was needed....
People, never never forget the "R E V E R S E" steering method, it prevents this kind of accident every time. You MUST practice the reverse steering EVERY time you go on a ride so that it becomes present in your reflexes so it occurs instantly without any thought when an emergency arrives ... .. ..
So confirming that the night dragons are good tires but not for everyone... most importantly though, proving that the rebel line can do literally anything with relatively little work. Can't wait to see more and I'm chomping at the bit to eventually get bikes for my fiancé and I. Added bonus, fiancé's kid want to ride too, family trips ahead! I feel like western NC will be a great place for us to gain experience and grow as riders. Thanks for a great video, be safe and keep having fun!
Hi TJ!! Always a delight to see your comments brother! The night dragons are great, just like you said, not for everyone. NC has some of the best roads in the country bro!!!!
Hi George!! I can't wait to go back, it's a hidden gem, i feel like i struck Gold!! All of us on the trip were talking about how we would love to retire in WV!!! I can't wait to go back to explore the whole state, so much to look forward to!!!
awesome ride. Im here in the Shenandoah Valley very close to all these roads. I don't have the confidence to tackle my bar riser modification. I need to meet up with you one day haha
Hi Gus, I am always looking forward to see your trip videos. I can feel your energy and all your impression are served like on plate 😁 This autumn looks very nice and I also enjoy this time on my bike. Me and my friend we both own Rebel 1100 and we both were lucky with good stock tires. I have never felt any woble and my friend as well. My friend has just problem with stock shield from Honda. When we goes over 90 km/h it starts to whistle. I think it is becouse of that hole in that stock shield and windflow. But I think he needs just to disturbe this windflow with "something" and the whistling will be gone. But this is just "cosmetic" and I can trully say onlyone problem with Rebel. I think if you want automatic transmision and cruiser, Rebel is the only solution. Take care and carry on with these super videos
Hi Miro, thank you for your kind words brother!! regarding the whistle, i had it as well, like you mentioned, you need to disrupt the airflow, i placed weather stripping between the screen and batwing to close that gap. go to 3:54 in this video to see what i mean ruclips.net/video/TGJtkWl3KFs/видео.htmlsi=StKojE0IPyP11AQP&t=234
This guy is intelligent. He is good at explaining things. Now I just have to get me an 1100 Rebel !!! It would fit me perfectly and give out great performance, an all in one rider and it even looks good. I currently have a Suzuki 1500 Intruder which is so large and heavy that it takes the joy out of riding it. I weigh 165 and the bike is too large for me. I don't know if I should get the automatic or the manual ... .. ..
Hi Anti, thank you for your kind words! Based on what you said, I am certain that you will love the rebel 1100, and I would definitely recommend the DCT! 🍻🍻
Hi 👋🏼 oh man. Fun stuff. I’m riding in couples hours with a friend. We going for 4 hrs ride around the Rockies mountains (Conifer-Deckers-Col Springs). I will finish your video when I’m back., I need to get up and get ready 😈 Enjoy the weekend buddy
Thanks for sharing your amazing ride and bike! If you get a chance to reply I'd love to know the make and model of your windscreen. It's on the larger, which I like, but hope it doesn't have the "sail" affect like some larger screen in heavy wind conditions. :)

Hi Alex!! Who wouldn't want to have both, i wish i could get all my dream toys, but my reality dictates my logic, unless of course i win the lottery hahhahaha, no logic needed! I'd still keep the Rebel, i would add the goldwing, africa twin, and a moto guzzi v100 mondello LOL

I like to ride near the center when in traffic. I can see ahead more clearly and opposite traffic can see me better as well. We can turn invisible when behind cars, particularly to those deadly left turners. On 2 way highways I ride near the center when there is no opposing traffic in order to give myself the most space in case of a car turning onto the road that didn't see me or any other emergency.
