Wheels are looking mint… I’m still waiting for mine to arrive. It’s been months. I called the guys and they said it’ll be a few more days but you never know..
Thanks! It was a hard decision between modern and rat....but one thing for your rims ...NOO FEDEX!!! It was the biggest headache in the world. They straight up said they were delivered and sent me a picture of a doctor's office somewhere. Took weeks to rectify that issue. This is not the first time. Back in September they delivered a box of brake lines that was driven over by a truck and had tire marks on it
the wheels look good and yeah i think the black valve covers will look pretty sharp to but just out of curiosity did you consider just painting the valve covers you al ready have
Good question, I did, and I actually have a powder coater I thought about pulling out. I just want some really tall obnoxious ones that say chevy on the side. Its not super important now as the budget has dried up and we are pinching now witht the project. Maybe a future add on? The wheel were a hard discision especially the offset and backspacing and Mickey Thompson SS tires, but im trying to stay as far away from a Fad 60s T Bucket as much as possible and more towards the Tribute T style.
@@GearHeadzGarageUSA if you pull the powder coater out please film it inever actually seen one of the home units in use before i dont mind the 60's fat tire look but its kinda necessary with all the power people are putting in these things today
I have a few things we will powder coat a little later on. Its the HF one.....its actually pretty good. I hot flock everything and the finish is perfect. Now if we end up putting some power to this motor then we will need to graduate to some Hoosiers, but I dont think this 2BBL 69 SBC will be a screamer. But I might be wrong considering the T is about 1400 Lbs lololol
@@GearHeadzGarageUSA ive never had a need for a powder coat setup but i would like to experiment with it i wasnt aware that harbor freight still sold the powder coat machine ill check the price though

Sweet!!!! Looking good!
Thanks 👍
The modulator shift points are adjusted with a small screwdriver within the nipple where the vacuum hose goes in.
Well I'll be darned I never looked in the hole, I was expecting something in the outside. Never used an "adjustable" one
Appreciate that!
