    Steady progress is the key. The plug wires went from a rats nest to organized which helped my OCD because it looked real bad and now it looks great. The finish on the valve covers and air intake scoop now match and looks good too. The key to a T bucket is the engine because it is always on display. You have now connected all the dots to make it look nice. I'll keep watching if you keep posting.

      Oh the blue rats nest had to go I agree. Now that the motors all set I can work on the pretty stuff. But in trying to get a color scheme going minus the mis matching parts

    Fantastic Job! Bet you will sleep better knowing that you don't need a new Transmission

      Not bad for a 50 year old trans that was less than a 100 bucks

    Those header. Extensions WILL work themselves loose over time. I put a pop rivet on the back side to cure the issue. Keep an eye on them, you don’t wanna run over one going down the road.

      Are you talking about the kickouts right?

    • @RichT-s2r
      @RichT-s2r 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@GearHeadzGarageUSA I believe so, if that’s what they’re called. The one bolt won’t hold them tight forever. Mine kept coming loose and would rotate so the exit pointed downward. To remedy the issue, I drilled a hole in the back side and installed a pop rivet. It’s worked fine for the last 10 years since..

      @@RichT-s2r well I appreciate the tip! I'd hate to be going down the road and drive over one of those things and flip over lol
      When we get ready to drive and I'll keep that pop rivet in mind
