I have a panther and love it! A word of advice, if you look the front turnbuckles there’s two more positions. I gave mine more toe out and it runs straight now and hits the advertised speed!

Yes it is, except for this one they added the side guards to the HSP chassis. This one seemed much more robust. I just reviewed the brushed HSP version of this.

Fully agree, right now it is one of my favorite rc cars 🔥😃 Gyro was reverse on mine, body had to be trimmed and for 3s other tires makes sense due to balloning of the stock ones. But except of that, it is an amazing car 👍🏻

@@DerbyCityRC Reely 15 Spokes black rims, tires are already glued. 66mm x 26mm, 3mm offset. They fit nicely and are cheap, in Switzerland from a hobby shop discounter just about 12$.

Man ur the only dude I know apart from kev who will run that car till there's no more tires left lol, and on gravel too 🤣, only issue I find is its tires fit on a flat rim and for a drifter that's bad imo, with all the side preasure those tires should have a bead lock or fit in a double sided groove, other than that both these cars are awesome bro 👌 though I'm not one for drifting cars, I'm more into all rounders off road and on meaning truggies and buggies and so on, reasantly I bought two wltoys storm buggies and a polar lights truggy and I must say I'm pretty impressed with all for there price, a bit of work on all of them has improved them even more and I've driven them all a good few times now and not even a roll or scratch on them yet as I only drive them in my yard on the lawn and porch and driveway, the storms are capable of rolling pretty easly and im carefull to avoid that but the polar lights is realy stable even with its stock friction shocks and it just can't role 👍, my next one or two buys will be hbx but here in South Africa they are kinda hard to get, always out of stock and not realy cheap in our stupid currency and I am only a pensioner lol, anyway I love watching ur videos as its verry informative in terms of durability and what to buy because I can't afford to test buy and realise its not what I wanted or worth my hard to come by money✌

All the parts are listed on FTX website, which the FTX stinger is the same car, but they don’t ship outside the UK yet.
So they have to be available somehow. Still searching!
Oh and yes the sway bars came with it.
Do the tires come off like that in order to slide on replacements without buying entire wheel/tire?
No( they don’t sell the treads separately.
They do for the rubber tires but not the plastics. Good thought though!

Thanks! Well he was hating on it because the gyro was reversed like mine was. It would be absolutely impossible to drive that way as his was. Unfortunately he didn’t know how to reverse it, but it’s also not shown in the manual. I saw He bought another one. Not sure if it’s for a second review or for his prize competitions.

Do you like the 1/10 OUTCAST 4X4 4S V2 BLX Stunt Truck RTR more than the Mojave 4S?
That’s a tough question since they’re different types of cars. If I feel like doing rampy jumpys, the outcast wins, if I want to do some wicked off-road mighty slideez, it’s the Mojave.
All about the mood for that day I guess.

You HAVE to try the 1/10 tires on the Omni Terminator. It gets quite close to a Granite/MT10

I thought this was a cool car. My only problems were that it was a weeeeee bit slower than I thought it would be (There's that speed snob in me.) and I keep comparing all cars by the ARRMA Vendetta and it's price point, and I don't mean by the $200 I got mine for, but the $300-350 that most people can if they look hard enough, for.
I haven't encountered too many RCs, on video, that you can do that awesome POV camera work that you did. (AWESOME AND cinematic!)

So what was the best speed you got on 4000 3s pack..i just heard you say 42 mph...not sure if that was best..box says 56mph,so i would think 50 mph would be doable..thanks for sharing.
I think 42 was the highest I got because it kept spinning out. There was plenty of trigger left though so on a higher grip surface I’d say it could probably hit that 56. Definitely 50. You’re welcome!

So i know stock tires expand and hit body and frame at around 35 mph...did you find good wheel and tires that dont expand? Such a nice looking car...thanks
None that don’t expand. In my somewhat recent review of the mjx 14303, I actually showed this car again with a different set of tires. They’re cheap and decent, but they still expand and need to be glued.
As long as they expand just right and dont hit body or frame...i always hold my cars and make sure there is zero rubbing at top speed...did you test your car with these new wheels like this? If so i will order them...i prefer a little less traction to tires that rub any day of the week..but this car is still a beast on 2s,so if nothing rubs on 2s that would be good...but i believe this car will hit 55 mph with good 3s battery and tires..i watched tomely get 53 mph out of his with stock tires..then he loss it and crashed because tires jammed into body or frame...😢
@roadstar499 I haven’t tested it like that, plus I’ve trimmed my wheel arches slightly so I can’t test it perfectly for you. Have you tried to find belted 65mm tires?

Actually not yet! The UK has parts available directly from the FTX website but they don’t ship outside of the UK so that doesn’t help either of us lol.

The Traxxas 4-tec 2.0 ones fit exactly BTW but NOT cheap.
The problem is with the wheel offset meaning NOT many options for spares .

Yes it is. Maybe like 12 mph. Not fast at all, strictly for drifting. Lol

Hey dude first off how are you? Second I got this car a few months ago but no instructions. Was wondering if you could show how to install the sway bars?
Hey man. Good how are you?
Ya it doesn’t even show how to in the instructions. For the front it’s much easier to remove the upper bumper brackets.
The sway bars finagle in from the front and back of the car and fit into the little groove on the diff housings. Two screws hold each one down. I believe they go over top of the axles, not underneath.
Then you use the long set/grub screws to attach both eyelets together for each of the 4 bar ends. The orange pieces slide on the end of the bars and tighten set screws. Then the links just pop onto the pivot balls. Usually need pliers for that.
It’s not as easy as it should be. I actually tried recording it for the video and you couldn’t tell at all what I was doing.
Hopefully this helped, cuz I couldn’t get it on camera.

They just irritate me how you always see their new cars on other channels 3 months before you can even buy them! I get that it's advertising but doesn't seem right! 👍 Should at least wait until they are available for everyone.
Gotcha! I believe the channels that did that got in “trouble” as they weren’t supposed to release it so early. We didn’t receive ours until last week and pre order dates are in 6 days so luckily this time not too bad.
I probably won’t even get my video out until close to the preorder date anyway. I’m finishing up another one before I edit the Omni video. Either way I’m gonna make the video entertaining so you could watch it for that reason 😃🤣🤣

@ReactionRC rlaarlo is odd with their marketing. They’re more agressive than most, and they seem to send to different RUclipsrs each time they have a new car. I asked for the big crawler they’re releasing too and got the “well ya know….we don’t know when it’s coming out…” treatment lol I haven’t gotten a rlaarlo since that desert truck maybe 6 months ago.

Ive always put off on getting the hnr panther or ftx stinger, but because I could never find parts like tires for it online it puts me off, I know its a uk brand and they seem to only sell parts locally ☹️
Then again its one of the cheaper rcs and can just run it only on open field; the problem I said would only be a Big problem if it was a costly rc, and cant find spare parts
All the parts are supposed to be available at hnrhobby.com
I’m pretty sure you can order them from ftx too, but I haven’t tried yet. Luckily nothing has broken and I’ll likely try a different brand of tires anyway.
So verified that you can order the ftx parts from ftx-RC.com, but only in the uk, France, and I believe Ireland. (For now).
The HNRhobby.com website seems incomplete. Havent been able to find parts anywhere for other countries yet, but they’ve got to be here somewhere!
Or hopefully the aunt website will be done soon. I sent an email, but it’s currently the Chinese New year vacation.
Luckily you can get other tires that will fit and I haven’t broken anything else yet! Lol

Kraton/outcast/Mojave 4s line is pretty awesome, you seen my videos on the latter two? Unbeatable cars!
Probably my two favorites of all time in those categories. Also have the vorteks coming up. The terminator is pretty awesome. Definitely doesn’t have the feel of a large scale car since it’s not one, but it comes with droops screws so you can adjust your suspension sag, incredible suspension, optional pinion gear (with more options you can order).
It’s made really well for its size and budget I think. I’ll throw in some extra camera angles for you bro!!

The stock tires are terrible it’s kind of like a wild animal when driven it’s kind of hard to control & had bad tire rubbing issues so it would take some modifications to get it to perform decent but that’s pretty much any RTR to be honest I wouldn’t mind purchasing the Beast but in the US it’s hard to find a shop that has the FTX brand.
Ya pretty much any RTR for sure but as indicated in the video, I found this to be very easy to control compared to any other drift car I’ve tried. The tires are extremely “sticky” which helps keep it from spinning out easily. I don’t know I found it to be pretty darn awesome lol

@Casitascrawlers my gyro came backwards too. I showed how to fix it in the video which is luckily pretty easy. Would be nearly impossible to control with it backwards like the negative reviews show.
