instead of of buying a couple of the FTX STINGER'S ( am in UK of course ) , i decided instead to buy a couple of HSP HISPEED GT 3S CARS from a UK dealer / seller . Has hobbywing electronics 60 amp ESC and hobbywing brushless motor , 15kg metal servo , also has all metal drive train , and comes with flysky digital transmitter and receiver , and no delay problems with the flysky /receiver package , as they are also used on my LC RACING EMB-RA RALLY cars also . Got the HSP cars two for £156 UK pounds a piece , because i purchased two of them and without the included choice of batteries . NSX mk2 body shell . Cars come in red , but i also got a couple of white shells for £19.99 UK pounds a piece . Also has hex bolts in the chassis .
HNR was formerly known as Hong-Nor, and they made some pretty spectacular 1:8 competition chassis for buggy, truggy and onroad GT classes. Dont know if they are still into competition but they still make awesome bashers. The HNR X-Mars is one of very few monster Trucks that features a center-diff with a slipper clutch and really is a top quality basher. This 1:10 really looks promising as well!
I got mine a little while back. I love the looks and I think it's a great value for the money. I still have to get around to making a video on it. Great job as always!
@ReadySetRC I just took it out of the box, admired it, and put it away since I didn't have space on the shelf for it. I have way too many cars. I'm leaning towards running it on 3s. I tend to prefer my cars to be overpowered. Now it's getting cold here in Jersey, so I probably won't get it out until spring.
These HNR/FTX cars are awesome ! I hear though. That the tires on the HNR balloon into the chassis causing handling issues. I guess the compound on the FTX Tires are a less sticky compound that doesn’t ballon like the HNR. Maybe they resolved the issue? We will see! I’ve been wanting this car since it came out in the beginning of the year. Maybe next year!😝👊🏼🌟💯 awesome overview brother!
@BangForYourBuckRc Thanks brother! I had the same concern with the compound of the tires. I ran it on 2S and zero issues. I think 3S will have a different outcome though.
@user-su5hr6bj1j If you are based in the UK, Ireland or France, parts can be purchased from FTX-RC.com. Also Modelsport under the FTX brand which also ship to the UK regions. AliExpress has limited parts support from their distributors and per Banggood will be posting parts support in Feb of 2024. I do not work or am I affiliated with FTX, HNR, Banggood, Modelsport or AliExpress. I just looked all this up just like anyone else😊
Nice overview man .... I absolutely love the look of this rc !!!
@kaosr.c This is body is on the Kyosho level with the detail.

@ianjohnhorwood2605 I used to see those on Amazon from time to time. I was looking at the nitro version.

@AsurasWrath164 Oh yeah Hong Nor is still around. 8th scale mostly. I've gotten a few RC's that was sold under Ofna. Great lineup.

@rcmodify Thanks for the support. Are you running it more on 2s or 3s?

@@allscalerc Funny enough that's when I run my on-road mostly.
@@ReadySetRC I have a short window. I live in a shore town, so once the weather gets warm, the island gets flooded with people.
Oh wow, because when i went to order the FTX Stinger, i was informed they couldn't ship it to the states.
They don't. I talked to them directly. Insurance reasons are why they said they don't.
@spenn2007 Yeah HNR is the one for us. Same car though minus the battery.
Looks amazing. I want one. I can't wait for the running video. That symbol looks like redcat?
@rcbeast101 That does look like their logo😆
That is a nice looking car.
@bigtrev71 They totally killed it💪

So where is the promised light demo?
@Tireblaster I had to cut this video short in the editing. It's in the next video which is the size comparison video.
12mm wheel hexs?
@hyperc5249 Yes.
Hong-NorTell me where to buy spare parts for this model
