  • @zackj997
    @zackj997 Год назад +4

    Is there a technical reason why nobody has made a LEP light that zooms out far enough to be a regular flashlight? The beams are cool but will rarely be used practically by most people. If they also offered wide-zoom for most common flashlight usage I'd imagine they'd get much more sales and customers be happy knowing they can zoom into a beam when its needed.

    • @ayokay123
      @ayokay123 Год назад

      As far as I know, nobody's been able to make an LEP that's floody enough to be truly useful, but the Manker Crown with it's unique zoom technology and SBT90.2 LED is a pretty good compromise. No, it won't throw as far, but it's way more useful. Too bad it's $450.

    • @zackj997
      @zackj997 Год назад

      @@ayokay123 I don't understand why it would be difficult? Can't you just put a wide angle lens in front of it?

    It’s not a laser. Sure it uses a laser to excite a phosphor bead, then owning to superb optics has an amazingly culminated beam. So think that’s what it really comes down to…optics enhanced full spectrum long range spot.
    That price is unfortunate, though expected, it’s probably the only useful LEP I’ve seen since you can adjust the spot.

    • @flashlightcrazy
      @flashlightcrazy  Год назад

      Yes, the spot makes it very usable in real situations, Although the weight and size are something to think about.
