Oh wow, so cool. That reminds me so much of riding my '72 Honda CL100 (scrambler model) up in the mountains of Colorado in the early '70's. I had the CL100 and my Dad had an SL125 and we would go riding in the mountains every weekend that we could, for many years. It was great! Watching you ride the trail 90's reminds of those days, it was slow going and rough riding, but the little Honda's did it just fine.

Man I love the little CT’s so much, what a perfect utilitarian, reliable gem. My father n law has a 72’ that I restored a while back, I hated letting it go back to him lol. PS your valves are clattering.
CT90s have a low range and a high range gearbox. That switch allows you to switch between the two. It’s one of the features that make these outstanding trail bikes and true duel sport.
