    Thank you so much for sharing this. When I was little I saved up my lawn-mowing money one summer and bought a Trail 90 from an old man named Pabst in Alamogordo NM for $135. I drove that thing everywhere, and I mean everywhere. I used the low range sometimes, it really made it crawl and helped when I had to go up a steep trail. I would give anything to have it back. I should have never given it away. To those out there that have the opportunity to own or restore one, I can guarantee you from the bottom of my soul you won't regret it. They are amazing machines!

      do you know if their engines are still around or are they basically pit bike motors?

      Thank you for sharing your story how long ago did you give yours away? I hope you find the opportunity to have one again one day.
      Sincerely thank you for your comment

      Tim T most would be stock to have the high lo range. I think the Lifan makes better engines for pit bikes and some do the 12v lifan conversion, but you lose the low range

    What a sick video. I have 2, one I just got running after it not running for 20 years. Love these bikes and might have to try some snow riding next.

    Very impressive trail riding! I'd be full of myself if I did that on my WR450F. Trail 90s rule! I learned to ride on one, and still have one. But have to admit, it rode a lot better when I was 12 and 100 lbs lighter!

    • @250Greenmachine
      @250Greenmachine  6 лет назад +2

      Haha thank you. But it was all the bike. They are perfect learners and can still be fun for experienced riders. Nice to hear you still have one!

    I've been toying with the idea of finding myself a complete one of these to tinker with next...not that easy here in the UK (usually air filters and spare fuel container missing amongst other things). You've just made my mind up for me, thanks!

      MotoSpud thanks for watching. If the 125s turn out to be a success I would suspect they would look into a cross cub as well. I’m looking forward to 12v batteries :)
