  • Come check out the progress we've made on the 100 acre homestead. I've been putting the Mahindra 4025 to work brush hogging 40 acres, moving trash/junk with the loader and filling holes with the loader. Mrs. Hands On and I have been working through 100 degree days and wearing ourselves pretty thin. We love it though and think it's worth the hard work.

We've got "hillbilly's" around us that do the same thing, toss the trash out the door and its generational too. You and the Mrs. are making great progress out there.

I have 20 wooded acres in southern most Alabama. Totally undeveloped. We has a small Kabota 4x4 tractor come in and we cut some "roads" through the yopons. My wife bought a DR field and brush mower and a 100pound woman, 5 foot nothing, wrestled that machine throughout the trees and made it walkable. Then we rescued two bulls who became steers and I installed a solar electric fence on about 12 acres all wooded. The eating machines got fat and sassy and would even come when my wife called them. One she could ride on ( before he lost his nuts) he loved her. Anyway. They are gone, we had two gardens where they had cleared for us. Nice vegetables. We hand dug two additional wells. One 12 ft deep, one 20 foot deep both produce water using a pitcher pump. Tested pure and the deeper one is cold water on the hottest summer day. 10 years ago I had a total heart failure, a widowmaker. I died. I'm a fighter. They tried to foreclose on my property. I got better, filed chaper 13, paid it off in full 4 years ago. Then forced to retire due to injuries. I should have bought a tractor.
Don't know what kind of house you want but check out those larger wooden sheds some are two story. Insulate them install electric. Plumb in water a septic. Then add another one within eye sight, and another. Now you have guest housing for the kids and in-laws. A little at a time. Sorry so long. I have more ideas.
    Stay safe

That land looks awesome, with all those aluminum cans. You might want to make a kiln out of one of those propane tanks and melt the cans into ingots.

You can run a chain or cable through the windows of that mobile home and drive off with your tractor. The roof can be on the ground in no time.

🇦🇺😎👍They’re no shortage of assholes in this world ….If you throw some varied size purlins on top of the container you could put some corrugated iron on roof and create an air gap. That’s what I did with mine. Patch the top of the container of course. You need to keep the containers up off the ground so not to rot the bottom out. Perhaps you have . Can’t see ..I only have two acres and it costs a lot to do everything…Unless you have credit of course…I had about 10 big truck loads of rubbish on my property years ago . I burned for months.🤣 So many deadly snakes …Not allowed to shoot handguns on private land in Australia. Has to be at the gun club..Great video big fella. I’ll watch the other one tomorrow when I wake up🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
